Took my wife on a pizza and ice cream date. First time we walk in, we are immediately disoriented as to where to order. Sure enough, the is a big menu right in front of us, but where is the register? After searching around a bit, we find it, located about 15 feet to the right and behind the menu. And there is no menu behind that register. How does that make sense? So now, I'm trying to figure out where to stand to get a good look at the menu. Unfortunately, there is a table basically right in front of it, so I'm standing there at an awkward angle trying to not sit on the gal's lap who's occupying the table (my wife wouldn't be too keen at that). My wife leans over and whispers "They don't sell pizzas by the slice!?" Sure enough, the big menu only lists prices for the entire pizza. I whisper back "They do, and they have a special combo because I have eaten at their food truck before. I just don't remember what it is. Let's ask." So, we weave between tables to the guy at the register. He has never heard of the combo, but his buddy overheard and showed a button that did just that, admitting he'd never used it. I'm searching all around for some menu to find out what the different combos are. Nothing. So, we get a verbal explanation, and weave back through tables all the way back to the menu to see what pizza flavor we want. Deciding, we dance the table dance again back to the register, only to be told that we couldn't order any of those flavors. Only the ones sold by the slice: to which the guy points to a 8.5 x 11" printout wedged into some cheap plastic on the counter in front of him. Why is this not a part of the big menu? And why the heck didn't you tell us this when we were just asking you about the combo? So, we order, pay, and sit down. Only then does the guy clue in to that he didn't ask us what type of dressing we want on our salad. We tell him, and I'm half expecting him to also ask what flavor of ice cream sandwich we want--which came with our meal. Nope. Just the salad dressing. The meal comes out with some very thin pizza slices, and some salad. And what a salad. The leaves are so huge and in such a small bowl, it is nearly impossible to manage. But, we do. At this point, I'm just happy to sit down to actually eat my food, and to enjoy being serenaded by the music...and the loud, shrill screaming of the carpenter's drill in the corner. Yes, you got that right. They had a carpenter, inside the restaurant, drilling holes in tables during dinner time. The screeching was horrendous, and the guy is still taking orders--over the phone even. I'm impressed. Quite the professional operation here. We hurriedly finished to get out of the screaming operation of the drill, and try to track down somebody to get them our ice cream sandwich. He was very helpful and friendly, until he got distracted by something else...I don't remember what... until I asked again. He went, got the ice cream sandwiches, and, instead of simply handing them to us, put them up on the counter next to him. If you want good pizza for a good price for a good experience, I would highly recommend Domino's. This place severely packs any kind of management, much less common sense. A teenager could do better.

Long-time patron. Food is good. Always quality. Was excited to see the new renovation. Came in for a quick pint and a bite and was caught off guard at the price of some pizza rolls, salad and beer to be almost $25. Asked for the breakdown and had to be awkwardly explained RE: auto service charge. Signage wasn't clear. Not a full-service restaurant so not understanding the auto-charge, though I do fully understand the change in labor laws regarding tips - spent ten years in restaurant management so feel I've earned the right to an informed opinion here. Ended up eating my pizza rolls without the appropriate chlorophyll to make a balanced meal since $25 was not justifiable to my budget. Not sure I'll be back, unless I'm really feeling flush, especially now that I'm reading this applies to take-out as well.

Hidden Fees, watch out. I would not recommend this place. Be up front about your prices on the menu's or explain to the customer at time of purchase a 12% service charge is added on to every order. I took something to go did not even eat in the restaurant. This is so wrong. Yes it is on the menu but in such fine print you should provide a magnifier glass to read it. Honesty in pricing should be required by law. Places that do not want us to tip for the value of service but make us pay for it anyone what a joke. Just raise the prices on the menu. Suggest tipping and be done with it. We the patrons have a right to tip on bases of food quality, service and restaurant cleanliness. Not have the owner tell us this in a pizza sub shop. I can understand it happening in a 5 star restaurant.

Great ingredients. Love their whole wheat crust! Owner and staff were very engaging and helpful. Love the decor. BUT, they should verbally tell you about their 12% service charge (vs relying on the customer reading one of their MANY signs). Doesn't feel right to do otherwise. No problem tipping, but surprises on your bill are no bueno.

Great ambiance, great service, and wide selection of local brews. The pizza was delicious and made quickly. The recent remodel has turned this take out pizza place into a great hang-out! I will definitely be coming back!
