THE FIELDS STATION

Location is great for convenience and the milkshakes are incredible, but the “customer service” we received was strained at best, and aggressive at worst. I’ve never felt like such a nuisance to an establishment just for walking inside a building hoping to place an order, like we were doing something wrong by being there. I didn’t even feel comfortable looking around the store, which seemed to have a variety of useful items. Our interpretation was that either the people working there are extremely stressed, hate their lives, hate tourists, or all the above. Not reflective at all of our customer service experience throughout the rest of SE Oregon, which was very warm.

Came in to get some gas, the younger gal was very rude. She complained about me interrupting her when she was speaking to my wife. Which I didn't, my wife was already walking out the door when I starting speaking to her. Then she had the audacity to interrupt me when I was asking one of the gentlemen for a straw. Seeing from the other reviews, it's looks like a common theme. That gal is working at the wrong place, she should be working at dic's last resort, if that's her customers attitude. She would fit perfectly there.

The Rock House only has blinds in one bedroom and there are gaps in the blinds. No blind in the bathroom. No blinds in the living room. Just know you will not have privacy. Grateful to find a place that allows dogs but note there is only a partial fence. Just know before you go.

Very rude and confrontational owner. Spent quite a bit of money there only to get a tounge lashing for grabbing my own soda while we waited 20 minutes for an over cooked burger and shake. They must be Portland or Bend transplants to bring the big city rudeness to a rural community.

Location,location, location... friendly staff, gas, yummy huge milkshake, burger, water, relief station. All ones needs. Gas is high, but you're in the boonies. You take a photograph, see photo, to pay inside
