Knotty Pine Motel & Station

Stayed for two nights in January while helping a family member move into their new house in the area. Everything was perfect! The room was nice and warm when we arrived. Cozy and very clean, comfortable bed. Mini-fridge and microwave super convenient. The shower water was good and hot! Everything you could want for a VT winter stay. It was remarkably quiet given the location on a main drag. Check-in and checkout was super easy. In short, an excellent value for the money!

This place was perfect! I needed a last minute booking for one night for a short ski weekend and was very happy with my stay. I called to ask if I could change my check in time from 4pm to 7pm on Friday night, and the woman who I assumed was the owner was super accommodating and told me it was no problem at all. When I arrived it was a super easy check in process and the owner was very nice! The room was clean with fresh towels and sheets, strong wifi, and I could not have asked for a better one night stay! If I am planning a ski trip in the future that is close to this area, I would happily choose this place again! :

The creepy owner kept sticking his head in our room and complaining about this or that, nagging us constantly. Once when i was naked i saw his face in the window watching me. I think that wasnt acceptable. If that wasn't enough, The rug was old and greasy. Disgusting.

We were there over the Thanksgiving holiday. Nice, clean, quiet. The room was nice, king size bed was comfy. Great area, we usually stay on Main St., but decided to venture out. We would stay here again! Close to everything.

This was one of the best motels I or my husband have ever stayed in. The pool is very new, clean and beautiful. Our room was extremely clean with a nice updated bathroom. The breakfast was simple and exactly what we needed to start our day. All the employees were friendly and happy to say hello to my family. We met the owner by the pool and she was wonderful. She takes pride in her business and really seemed to love her small family owned motel. We will go back when in the area and will highly recommend it to everyone we know needing a place to stay in the Bennington area.

While planning out my trip a couple weeks ago, I saw the excellent reviews and booked one night. This place is so cute, great price, no frills but surprising amenities, clean, comfortable beds, and the owners are so nice! I'm late in writing my review but I was there a couple weeks ago and wished that I could have stayed more than one night. It was a very hot day when I arrived and I saw as I put my things in the room I went to the pool. Such a nice area, sparkling clean and refreshing! The same family has owned the Knotty Pine for over 50 years! It could use a little updating but still 5 stars, I hope to go back that way again, Bennington has a really cute downtown area too!!

A very cute motel. Cozy, cabin like vibes in the rooms. Werent sure about paying much more for a hotel; turns out The price and quality of stay was worth it!

We loved this charming, clean and historic little motor lodge. The price was reasonable. Ice was available in small, convenient bags. The person who checked us in was very pleasant. We were so lucky they had a cancellation and we were able to get a room here. Would definitely seek out this motel if ever in the area.Rooms: 5/5

This was our first time at the Knotty Pine. All staff were courteous and friendly. As was Smoky the cat. Room was nice and clean. Location worked out nice for us. We able to bike everywhere. Pool was a nice treat at the end of hot day. We'll be back.

We found this motel last minute on our drive into Bennington. It didn't look busy and looked clean and cozy from the outside. All the staff working there were very friendly. Our room was clean and just what we needed. The pool was awesome too! The motel is on a busy road so there is a lot of noise from that. There are plenty of restaurants and attractions near by! We will definitely be back!
