Fancy place with high but not overly dinner and drinks. Entrees around 30-50 dollars. Beers range from 7-10. Inexpensive to very high end wine and champagne selection. Good selection of cocktails, ranging around the $10 dollar range. There are a few vegetarian options. Food was excellent tasting but did seem to take a long time to arrive for how empty it was. Good for once and while outing. 4/5

Only issue with the Explorer is the tourist groups coming in to see the northern lights. When they get up at oh dark stupid to go see the lights, you're up as well! And again when they return. Best defence: ask for a room on the upper levels. Tourists seem to be on the lower levels of the hotel. Otherwise nice rooms and very good food in the restaurant!

Great place. Clean. Nice staff. Restaurant is good. Skye in the lounge is amazing. Would def visit again. Only issue is the room is freeeeezing ! But otherwise awesome!

Rooms are due for upgrades but this hotel has the best views, location. The restaurant has a nice brunch and the pub has a good selection of drinks and food.

Trader’s Grill at this hotel is really good! Nice scenary and good food!  Kids burger is even big enough for adults!!
