Quality Inn & Suites Yellowknife

I’m satisfied with my stay here. It’s not the best but not bad. The location is the best as it’s right in the middle of downtown. Very short walk to many places. The staff were nice and helpful to me. The room in general is like ordinary hotel. I didn’t have any complains. They have a shuttle to the airport which is convenient. It is on time and it saves about $18 taxi cost each way. The only thing is that the shuttle does not have heating in the winter so it’s super cold inside.

The rooms need more light, they are pretty dark, the window small and there are only lamps.nnOther than that, the rooms are good, have everything you need, including hairdryer, microwave, fridge, kettle.nnThey offer breakfast, it was very good. Eggs, fruit, pancakes, tea, coffee, sausages, etc.nnThe personnel is okay, not very enthusiastic nor rude.

Not in the best part of town. Beggars are often here. Lobby area doesn't have seating while you're waiting for your tour guide.nI wanted cleaning but didn't get it that day.nYou have to parallel park and use parking meters. However, we went to the Visitor Center and got a 3 day parking pass since we don't live here.nThe night receptionist and breakfast lady are very nice, helpful and friendly.

The dirtiest and most disgusting hotel I’ve ever stayed at! Zero housekeeping in 8 days. Not exaggerating! Have contacted the front desk three times in person and have had no house keeping. From the entrance to the room it is dirty, smelly. The walls have stains of liquids and other unknown substances. When contacting the front desk to have the room cleaned they keep writing your room number down and nothing gets done. I literally had to get garbage bags from the front to empty the garbages in our room. When asking for towels ans toilet paper they tell you to come get it as though it’s business as usual. You’ll get better value staying at a homeless shelter! Whoever is managing this hotel should be ashamed of themselves charging people money for such a deplorable service. My advice is to stay ANYWHERE but here!! This is a zero star at best!

Service was excellent, staff are attentive and friendly. Despite there being just one elevator, we never waited long - the elevator is very quick! Hot breakfast was provided. Rooms were dirty, you can tell they don’t wipe down the walls/doors. Thermostat was not working but it was thankfully too warm rather than too cold it was -28 outside, and there was a window to crack open and a fan to keep the temp down. Within walking distance to a grocery store, coffee shops, restaurants, pubs and pharmacies.
