Chateau Nova Yellowknife

Beautiful hotel! The rooms were quite nice and very comfy beds. The staff here was super friendly. The location is decently close to restaurants and shops, but sadly the view is just a parking lot and construction. I would like to visit again if I’m working in the area in the future.

All in all we had a fantastic time. Meeting the management was a nice little touch and they have a fantastic perspective!nnFood was excellent and we really loved the plated breakfast menu. A unexpected bonus: PATIO SEASON!!!!nnRooms were clean, big, and well kept. Can't wait to come back and see the further improvement.

I found all the staff that I dealt with at the Chateau Nova to be very friendly and helpful. The facility is clean and well looked after. It's in a great location because it's not a long walk to the downtown area of Yellowknife.nnThe room was good and I had plenty of room for what I needed it for which was an overnight stay .nnI would definitely recommend this hotel as a place to stay in. When I go back I will definitely book a room there.

Pretty good all round experience. The room is large with plenty of useful gadgets like boot dryers and boot mats. The room I had had a nice view, but the other side of the hotel would have been the car park. A nice large lobby which gets busy for aurora pick ups. The breakfast could have been a bit better no bread/toast?? but was perfectly fine. Potential security question with begging in the lift on one occasion. A good location with an easy walk to town and access to two nice walking trails around Niven and Frame lakes.

I give this 5-stars even though it would probably be 4 in most other places. This or The Explorer are the two biggest and best hotels in this small city.nnFor a non-luxury hotel, this was about as good as you could ask for. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, the pressure in the shower was good and plenty of warm water.nnLocation was really decent, meaning you can walk to most places, as long as you have the proper clothing for the season. I would stay here again.nnIn fact, I don't really think I would even chance it with the other places, just book this one if you can.
