The Cattle Baron Alberta Steakhouse & Bar

I’ve had good meals here before, but our last meal was not a great experience. The server (French accent I believe, not sure as he hardly spoke to us) was not friendly and was more concerned with getting us in and out. My rib eye steak was over cooked and was not at the level it has been in the past. I hear their ads on the radio talking about their great staff and food but there was definitely a disconnect between the expectations and the execution. I know that they can do better. I will be back again, and hopefully can raise my rating.

The food was Awesome, I am very picking regarding steak cooking they get it right on every time. Love this place. I have suggest to many many FRIENDS on going here for a perfect steak. Got a Lot of positive feed back from friends stating it is the best place for steak. The server was wonderful. Peter. Thank you all for a wonderful evening. Well be back for sure!!!!!!

Had a good dinner last night. Fair pricing for a great steak that comes with veggies and a potato. Restaurant was loud. I would go somewhere quieter for a special occasion.. but still, I preferred Cattle Baron over the Keg

Service was exceptional! Our Waiter went above and beyond. Sorry, can't remember his name. We were in back room with party of 14 on Dec 13. Thank you. Food was excellent too!

One of the good steakhouse restaurants in Calgary. Strongly recommend the ribeye - either in the steak sandwich or the full meal. I experienced better service in this location. Dependable and not over-priced.
