The Bent Elbow

What can you say about The Bent Elbow? It's a community created by the owner, Harold. A fine gent who within minutes of walking in the door, I felt welcome and warm. Harold has an ever-changing and expansive beer menu. And to pair these many fine brews with, he makes things from scratch like his own Oktoberfest sausage and pastrami. He goes that extra mile because he believes in offering something special. The bar itself is a welcoming spot and though I only went there twice, many people preferred to sit there. I was in town for work and it was nearby. I went there two nights in a row and had excellent conversations with his regulars. If you're used to more common domestic beers, you probably won't find them here, but Harold knows his stock well and will be able to get you into something similar, and more than likely even better. If I lived nearby I'd be a regular myself. Places like this are rare. Don't hesitate to check this out this light in the dark. It's a hidden gem.

Staff are awesome the times I have been to the Bent Elbow. Beer selection is impressive. Food price has crossed the value line... $20 for 8 wings? Ya, they were good but... and the fries were also good by a modest serving for $9.00... sorry the rating is not directly tied to the service or the food, but the value for the price paid. Walked away after a tip, because the staff definitely deserve it, at $37 for 8 wings and the modest serving of fries.

The Bent Elbow is one of my favourite restaurants and is by far my favourite pub, no other place has the ambience, the perfect music volume and the wonderful staff. Its a beautiful local restaurant with wonderful food, a seemingly infinite options to drink beer and delicious desserts. I will say however: If you want to come here to eat and drink, be prepared to spend a bit more than other places, but the extra money is well spent because the quality, service and experience all match the price point for everything! Furthermore they also have tasters for all their on tap beers, so if youre not sure you spend less, get less but can still have a positive experience. Truly, my favourite place to wind down at.

We visited this place on Saturday and it was a great experience. They have a binder full of beers from all over never seen such a big collection of beer. The food most of which is made from scratch in the restaurant and the same shows in the taste. The staff is friendly and helpful with good recommendations.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Bent Elbow. Sydney, our server was awesome. Friendly and knowledgeable she made recommendations that hit the mark. The food was delicious and the background music brought memories of New Orleans. Just an overall neat place. Highly recommended.

One of the most extensive and interesting beer menus I’ve seen anywhere. Great food, amazing service, and absolutely down to earth. This is the kind of pub we all wish we had in our neighbourhood.

Great spot. Lots of tasty beers and a knowledgeable staff. It is a few creative food items away from 5 stars. Ideal spot for a few drinks who enjoy well brewed beer.

Great little bar. It doesn't look much from outside, but really good friendly service and decent food.....and the music playlist isn't bad either! I was on a quick work trip staying at a local hotel, but would come back if staying again.

Incredible selection of beer and fantastic food. I had the Ruben egg rolls with from-scratch pastrami: 10/10 Go there now! You wont be disappointed.

A hidden gem with a European feel. A huge selection of beers from all over the world. Family owned and operated, highly recommended checking this place out.
