TLDR; Great pizza, good prices and atmosphere, but service and cleanliness could be improved. We arrived on a busy Saturday evening. It took a while for someone to greet us and provide menus despite waving the servers down numerous times... Only after a table that arrived after us was served first, were we then finally greeted. They have a daily pizza and pitcher special that easily serves 4 people for around $30. Once we ordered, the drinks and food arrived fairly quickly but I did notice a hair on my glass. I'm not too particular about this as I've had beers in dingier places, but that would probably not be okay with any customer... Other than that, the service was friendly once we were acknowledged. As for food, the pizza was freshly baked and delicious and had an abundance of thick sliced toppings and lots of cheese. I can see why it is their special. Washrooms were also surprisingly good despite the hair incident and business of the location. I'm going to pass this place off as it was very busy and an off night for them. All the locals seemed quite happy and gave the place a lively vibe. I would return to give McMullan's another go, but they definitely have a bit to work on.

Hats off to the owner of McMullan’s. They have the best staff, quality service, great food , for a great price. We have been going there for years and have never had a bad experience. Our favourite is the pizza and jug of beer. Friends had a panzarotti and fish n chips and they thought it was fantastic.

The food was tasty, but the service was sub-par. I ordered a Raspberry Sour beer, never had it before so asked how it tasted - "It's sour." The order taker said flatly. Later I ordered a cocktail and asked how it was. "It's good." Another flat response. I realized it was pointless trying to get a detailed and helpful response. The server wasn't rude per se, but they weren't nice either. Update [11/17/22]: The food is still tasty, but the service was better this time. A lot more welcoming and would check and see if the order was right. Ordered the same appetizer as last time; Wanton Cheese bites, good to see the quality of this place is consistent. Ordered a cocktail, it had a really good taste to it.

The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive to your table, we never once had to flag our waitress over. Anytime we were even getting closecto the end of a drink or need a plate clearing sheceas there ready to help! There is plenty of seating, really decent prices for food and alcohol. Also I can't speak for the rest of the food in there other than the Buffalo chicken wrap which was pretty good, but.... the pizza... WOW all homemade dough and sauce hand rolled and tossed is one of the best pizzas in all of kitchener waterloo I strongly urge trying it!

I love this bar and pub! Especially the pool! But it is so difficult to just decide to go there and find a room! You always need to call before going! Reserve your spot! On weekends, it is impossible to drop in and get a table!

Went with a group. Our server was sweet, moved quickly and handled all twenty of us with aplomb. Food was sometimes warm not hot but consistently tasty. Place was clean. The pool tables were clean, the cues were straight. I'll go back happily.

Reserved the back pool room for my Dads 65th birthday. Service was awesome and the pizza was sooooo good! They allowed us to bring in a birthday cake but the male server wasn’t so happy about the 3 bags of chips we opened…seeing as we probably spent $300 as a group for food and drinks, I wish they wouldn’t have made this out to be an issue. Overall great time, we’ll be back.

I do not understand why they post in their menu "undusted wings" they were so dry and tiny. Maybe offer the option of dusted or not. Service by the waitress was excellent. Used to enjoy going there for the wings.

Had a work party here. The atmosphere was great. The Service was excellent and the pizza ordered was also fantastic. Would recommend trying the pizza for sure.

Réservation was made 3 weeks in advance for 20-25 people. Reservation was confirmed the day of event f for 25 people. There was 1 server assigned to our party and she had never done a large party before. We felt for her. Another server came to assist but was clearly grumpy about the situation. Many of us commented on her demeanor. Poor management issue. As for the food... Beef tacos were cold... Fish tacos were hot and yummy... Wings were overcooked... Battered mushrooms were great... Beef dip was tasty... Perogies were good... Spinach dip was 'ok'.... 50% success. My food? I ordered the Almond Stir fry with fresh vegetables... The chicken was dry and the fresh vegetables were chopped onions, carrots & green pepper. Result... It went back to the kitchen. All in all, many of us won't be back but others will as they enjoyed their food.
