The Bennett Pub offers a warm, welcoming experience that feels like a true neighborhood hangout. Originally opened in 1938 as the historic Tudor Inn, it was Surrey’s first licensed pub after Prohibition, giving the space real local character. Today, the atmosphere is cozy yet lively, with friendly staff and a relaxed crowd. Food is classic pub fare done right, paired with a solid craft beer selection—perfect for casual dinners, sports nights, or meeting friends.

Had a phenomenal experience here with my son. We popped in on a Saturday for a late lunch, and the service was outstanding. I wish I knew our server’s name — she was blonde and incredibly personable. We had the beef dip and the pasta, and it was hands-down the best pub food in the Cloverdale area.nnWhat really topped it off was an Elvis impersonator who came over, took a photo with my son, and even gave him a silk scarf! Such a fun and unexpected touch — I only wish we could’ve stayed longer for the show.

My Server Lisa went above and beyond making sure we were looked after. She was very pleasant and attentive to all our needs. She made it so comfortable we will be back.

We loved it here! The food was delicious, lots of menu items to choose from and speedy kitchen and service. Sierra was delightful and provided an amazing experience. I’d highly recommend the Spud - Cajun fries, beef dip and house salad. The venue also includes craft beer, live music on Saturday’s, happy hour, and a beautiful outdoor patio. Lots of parking too. We will be back!!

Came in to watch the game. Normally don’t order food but was feeling nachos so we put in an order. Cost of Nachos was over $30, and they were so poorly made. No cheese, no toppings, just a few chips! We felt ripped off and the server never came by to ask how the food was so we just put it aside and ate a few chips but it was not good. The nachos should have been no more than $12. Won’t be supporting this place anymore, our nachos + 3 drinks was $75 after tip. For that price we could have had a better time somewhere else. Don’t come here for food, drinks only.
