We were a group of 4 and waited for about 30 minutes before we were seated. This is understandable for brunch time on a Saturday. However, despite waiting at the bar we were not even offered a coffee or water. 

When we were finally seated, the server slammed her cleaning tray on the table and left it, walked off, and did not come back to clean our table for about another 5 minutes. All the while she was seating and tending to people who walked in AFTER us.  

One of the servers (possibly the owner’s daughter) had the most rude and condescending attitude of anyone I have EVER encountered in the service industry. She absolutely needs a lesson in manners if she continues having face-to-face interactions with customers. 

One of our orders was also incorrect and had to be sent back. 

The price point is ridiculous considering the overall experience (or lack thereof). 

Please, do yourself a favour and consider dining elsewhere.

Our daughter selected this restaurant as she lives in Kitchener and it did not disappoint. Great atmosphere and ambiance. The place was busy on Friday night so I would suggest making a reservation. Service was very good and attentive.  Interesting little menu and food was absolutely fabulous! The Confit chicken salad in particular was a great starter. We will definitely go again when we are in back in Kitchener.

Finally got to enjoy this place after seeing friends rave about it on Facebook time after time. Without question, this is an amazing little gem in belmont village. Reservations are recommended and it was pretty busy at lunch time. Also, as I was informed by our waitress to check out the website as the menu changes a lot and the restaurant also offers lots of interesting chalk board features. We ordered very nice dishes with the help of our waitress who was very well informed of the menu. Their rendition of chicken schnitzel was outstanding & the salad special my wife had was very nice too. Get there before they take the deep fried cheesecake off the menu! Will be returning.

Excellent service, excellent food.  Too many good choices to choose from the Belmont Bistro' s menu.   The ratatouille  crepe is still my favourite  though!

A gem in Kitchener. Having moved here from Toronto, we love the casual  cool nature of the restaurant the vibe it offers. Food and service is fantastic and they serve mimosas ;)
