If you are in Jasper and looking for a good place to have breakfast, then this is the place to go. This place came highly recommended by the locals and i can tell you that it is worth the visit. The food here is amazing, we went for breakfast and were extremely satisfied with all the dishes we ordered. The quantity and quality of food is top notch and the place is very well made and has a retro vintage vibe to it. The staff was really friendly too. Happy to have visited this place!
I have loved coming here so much I came back a second time for dinner. The staff are super friendly, genuinely good hard working people who help make you feel at home. I ordered the chicken fingers with fries which was delicious, I loved that the fries were homemade. With this order I had to get the honey garlic dipping sauce. So good! The second time I came here I got the fish and chips. These portions are incredible, nice and big. Worth every single penny. Overall, if you want to dine in a classy restaurant that feels like you've stepped back in time with the ambience, great food and even better people who serve you the food. I'd highly recommend coming here :
A wonderful Historic Hotel conveniently located within walking to all shops. Customer service was excellent and rooms are very clean with comfortable beds.. updated bathrooms. but no mini fridges in rooms; however great ice dispenser on the floors...Rooms: 5/5
This is a great option if you are looking for a step up from a hostel. The hotel is located right in downtown. Our room was a private room without AC and without a bathroom we used a shared bathroom at the end of the hall. Also, there is no elevator. The people at the counter were very nice and overall our stay was pleasant.
That a gem this place is!! From booking to checkout my experience was good. I found the price to very reasonable especially considering the time of my stay. The service in all areas - the restaurant, room service & housekeeping was exceptional..very pleasant & helpful staff!! There isn’t an elevator however I didn’t even have to ask, they offered to carry my luggage up & down for me…no small feat how I pack…lol. The room was spotless, bed was comfy, decent water presuure & temperature. I had a great view of the mountains out my window!! I love the decor … it’s not brand new, up to the minute & I didn’t expect it to be & I’d be puzzled if anyone did after reading the articles about it…very clear to me that it is a hotel built in 1921 & it doesn’t have an elevator….you can choose rooms with central bathrooms or private…very clear when I read the articles & when I spoke to the front desk when I booked. It is nicely updated, very clean & reasonably priced. I will be back again & will recommend it to everyone!! Thank you to the staff for making my stay so pleasant!!!
Came out today as a contractor doing work in the facility. Even during this difficult time with the fires and being one of the few places in town with power, the staff were beyond accommodating in getting me a room for the night as a walk in, being available to take any questions I had in regards to the work I was performing and still able to maintain a friendly face even though they are burning out from the overload of people coming for a hot meal. Besides all of that, great party place and I’ve had nothing but great to say as a regular patron as well and not being there to conduct business!
I will start out by saying this - if you are looking for fancy, this isn’t it. This is obviously an older hotel and doesn’t have many of the “modern” amenities that a new hotel would have. If you read the room descriptions, this is made obvious. Now, the rooms are small but if you are using them just to sleep, they provide that. There is a bar downstairs so if you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs or book elsewhere. Our room has always been clean, staff are always friendly and the price is always right. You can’t get a better locations in that this hotel is directly downtown.
A wonderful part of the community of Jasper. Really appreciated their help, as did the whole town, during the power outage in Sept 2022. Beautiful and unique interior, classic hotel vibes. Definitely worth a visit!
Stayed here last month on our way back to AK, nice and quiet, great hotel, friendly staff. Room and washroom were clean. 10/10 recommend.Hotel highlightsGreat value
