service was great, but food seemed to be more about visual presentation than flavour. salads were terrific but entrees were lacking. elk underdone for medium rare but excellent flavour. veggie lasagna was very bland -- so much that replacement entree was given. salmon pretty good, potato croquettes lovely, but steamed veggies again overdone. good drink selection. really attentive and kind server.

This is the third time I have been to this establishment and the third time I have had the Thai Coconut Curry wings (they really are amazing) among other things. Every time the food has been delightful so I had no issues in bringing my parents who are visiting from overseas. The food is great the service is good, Downstream continues to be my first preference for dinner in Jasper.

Review from a vegan. Restataunt has a great Roasted Red Pepper falafel Sandwhich the service at this place is always amazing and they are very catering to vegans. My friends aren't vegan and they always love there food. The place itself is expensive but in comparison to JASPER prices. It's pretty decent. Never had any complaints in the 4 times I've been here. Also the bathrooms are kept pretty clean! So I would recommend this place. :)

Great service, food & beer. Tried two other restaurants but both were full so we went downstairs to this place. A great surprise as the place had a great atmosphere and we had a generally all-round excellent experience. The burger was very tasty and good portion size. Red Ale was fantastic.

Nice cozy modern pub with pool table, food, music and drinks. Clean bar and friendly staff. Was a nice way to finish the night in a beautiful town. Cheers!
