The 1029 Bar

Went here last night for the first time. I had the Connecticut Roll and it was amazing. It was thick cut Texas toast sliced almost down the middle with about 6-8 oz of lobster meat and butter dipping sauce that I poured of the top. Best sandwich ever.

If you want an awesome environment and the best lobster roll in MN come here you won't be disappointed. Also staff are super nice

Fun. If you want to laugh and smile and eat good food, this is the place. The Bloody Mary’s are the best I have found in Minneapolis in this small neighborhood bar and restaurant. The shrimp basket was tasty. My husband, a self appointed French fry connoisseur consumed them quickly.

We love the shrimp that they have there and you used to get a lot of it I just called and wanted to know why I only got six and a half pieces in my shrimp basket which is $14 and didn't get much of an answer kind of disappointing

Absolutely amazing lobster rolls. Rolls are huge and stuffed with tons of meat. The chicken wings were delicious and the homemade dressing spot on. The staff was great and atmosphere fun.

Took a while to get any service but a laid back bar for sure

So here's the thing. This is just a neighborhood dive bar until... you try the food. They have the original recipes that have become Smack Shack. Lobster Mac. With bacon.

Loved loved loved it.. our bartender was absolutely fantastic. Adrian is his name. Yay.

Was nice . Had some good food and good service! Glass of wine was way too much though. $9!!! And not a big glass!!

Quality food and a fun atmosphere. Patio is a great place to hang out and dine. Lobster roll is top-notch. Highly recommend if you like beer and quality seafood without fine dining prices.
