I had the "special" of the day green curry. Amazing! Fresh veggies. Just the perfect amount of heat. The basil gave it just the right amount of fresh kick. So good. And it took about 6 minutes at 11:30 on a Wednesday. Also, just cash!

Wonderful Pad Thai that was made better by the owner as she warmly greeted us. Tucked away down by the ferry terminal.

Located at the northern end of the Rockland Ferry Terminal parking lot in Rockland, Maine -- maybe 75 feet from the ferry dock itself, this tiny, tugboat-sized establishment offers great convenience, generous portions, and reasonable prices. Menu includes: Pad Tai, Tamarind Sauce & Chicken, Lobster Roll, Crab Roll, Fish & Chips, Fish Sandwich, Chicken Fingers, Clam Strips, Veggie Egg Roll, French fries, and Onion Rings. Everyone in my party of 4 hungry travelers from NYC ordered Pad Tai while waiting for our ferry to North Haven. We were delighted not only by the prompt, friendly service and delicious food but also by the owner, Sue -- who was very concerned about our welfare. Charming woman. The seating at the Tai Tugboat is outside. So there's not a lot of shelter from the elements. Luckily, the only weather inconvenience we had to deal with was a bit of wind. The Tai Tugboat at the Rockland Ferry Terminal is a great -- and only one of a couple of quick food options available at this location -- place to eat at or get take out. Whether you only have 10 minutes or an hour (like we had) or more before embarking on the ferry to Vinalhaven or North Haven. Highly recommended.
