Story

Rockland Cafe is a family style restaurant on Main Street in Rockland, Maine. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, seven days a week. Menu offerings include choice seafoods and "all you can eat seafood" specials.

Rockland Cafe is located in the heart of a small Maine seaport. The restaurant is within walking distance of the world famous Farnsworth Art Museum and is surrounded by many interesting shops. Repeat visits by our patrons are a good indication that you will enjoy your visit with us. Our saying is that you will: "Come as a stranger, and leave as a friend."

I came in with two young kids (who aren't crazy about seafood). We all left happy. They enjoyed hot dogs and fries and I had a fantastic fried fish lunch. What made the whole thing worth it, though, was how nice the staff were. Really helpful with the kids, didn't make me feel in the way or anything. The cafe also sells mugs, t-shirts, and other souvenir type items.

We came into an empty restaurant, and sat down. After a minute, another couple and a party of 20 sat down. Not only did they help us first, but even with a quickly filling house the service and food continued to be great. The food alone earns 5 stars, and they should get another 5 for the service. This place is one of the best in Rockland, and definitely a place to eat at. We'll be back again.

OMG OMG OMG....DELICIOUS. we went once for breakfast....Apple pie French toast....the best. second trip dinner, I had the prime rib....so huge and tender brought rest home for sandwiches. My husband had the fisherman's platter and said it was the best one he ever had. We'll be back on October for an encore! If you on the area...you must go.
