Texas Roadhouse

We love this place. We have gone there about 20 times or so, and most of our experience has been good. Having worked in the industry, we realize that not all employees are the same or will give you the same level of service. The best way to avoid this is to sit at the bar. The bartender is usually not a new employee and has their act together. The food is delicious and the proximity to our home makes this the best place to eat, hands down. If you are going to pay $40-$60 on a meal, you will not be disappointed.

Despite not doing call ahead seating, we got a table right away. The server, Taylor, was exceptional. The meal was great. Atmosphere was pleasant.

The food was great. Ordered 8oz Sirloin and ribs. Steak was cooked perfectly and ribs fell off the bone. The only reason I'm not giving a 5 is the place is too big. You're herded in like cattle and put at one of like 50 tables. I get it. I've been working in the business for 22 years. This is not the pace if you're looking to have a quiet, intimate dinner with your significant other! But the food is tasty!!

Love this place. Steaks are always delicious!!! Just make sure that you let them know which "medium" you like your steak cooked. If you just say just "medium," sometimes they'll go med-rare, and other times they'll go med-well. I've had it happen to me a couple of times which can be a big deal. For instance, I love my Ribeye steaks cooked medium rare, but like my prime rib medium well, and that can really ruin your beef if it's cooked not as you expect it.

We'll be back! Enjoyed our taste and reasonably priced steak dinners (18 oz ribeye without bone and the medallions)! HeadHunter IPA draft was crisp and cold just the way I liked it! Good music and friendly staff from the hostess, cook, to server.
