Momocho

My friends raved about the scallops here, three of us got them at our table, myself the newbie and 2 whom had them before. We all agreed they were undercooked and didn't taste fresh. The drinks and guacs were good, but the other food was too try hard and overrated. I'm not a food expert but lived in LA for 7 years and have eaten at Mexican restaurants that execute this style 100x better than Momocho. They refuse to split checks claiming it's their policy. However, they do allow more than one card to pay the bill. There is no real reason you can't do this, other than lazy pretentiousness. To top it off, it was freezing cold out, and the wait staff were constantly going in and out of the back door for supplies. We ate our $$$$$ meal enjoying the brisk breezes of Cleveland. Come here if you want to be part of the it crowd, but go elsewhere if you want to have an enjoyable dining experience eating well executed dishes.

Unique flavors and friendly staff. The bartender made some excellent recommendations. The margarita flight was very tasty and had some different flavor options. I will definitely go back.

Awesome little neighborhood place with a modern flair on Mexican cuisine. The interior atmosphere is cool and unique. The food is always great. Price is moderate and well worth it for the quality and portion sizes. You've never had better guac. And their margarita flights are worth sampling

Such a great mexican cuisine! It is a bit pricey but both my husband and I left full with just a meal. So bigger portions. We will be back. Sunday seems like a laid back day to go.

Saw the restaurant on Diners Drive-ins and Dives. Was not disappointed 😁. Moderate prices, big serving sizes, really delicious meals! I had checked the hours and saw it was highly recommended to call for reservations- and I would suggest you do. We went on a Tues night (which was Tequila Tuesdays...) And so glad we had called, it was packed, many without reservation decided not to stay. Highly recommend the restaurant.
