Teremok Cafe

My friend was raving about this place, so she took me there yesterday. Let me tell you...it was worth the hype. We happened to go on a rainy day and that bowl of borscht was the perfect thing to warm up from the cold. I also had the sauerkraut perogies that were also amazing. You can tell they are made with care and they were the perfect thickness. I will definitely be going back soon and bringing many of my friends.

Hidden gem in Kitchener. Highly recommend their borscht soup. Shepard's pie and perogies are also very good.

I went there on a snowy day after looking for a warm lunch after browsing shops in uptown. The cafe is small and cozy and immaculately clean. I had forgotten it was cash only till I ordered. The owner was very professional and informed me politely about their payment policy. I rummaged around for some spare cash and had just enough to cover my order of pierogies. She gave me the coffee on house and told me not to worry about it. The food was delicious and the coffee was one of the best I have tasted in the area. Loved it.

Always delicious food. Favorites are the perogies casserole and Sheppard's pie. Owner is very friendly and their take-home perogies are very good as well. Small place, usually not super busy outside of lunch time.
