Cozy comfortable cafe very friendly services. Ordered Matcha latte with almond milk - it is not really a latte pretty much heat up almond milk with matcha : - a very few places make good matcha latte. The place is 5 star, but disappoint with latte.
Bright, clean cafe with pastries and coffee including cold brews in the summer. Smaller venue but they manage to put a variety of seating options. Only been a few times. Americano was OK - wasn't as smooth as expected. Barista will ask you how much water you'd like added which was nice so you get more choice than choosing between a short or long americano. Will try again and update review.
Incredibly friendly staff. Consistently great coffee. Good atmosphere.
There are a ton of outlets, making this place great for studying/work.
For a guaranteed, excellent cup of coffee go to Balzac's. The coffee is so smooth and I love the ambience.
nice coffee joint to grab a quick drink or tasty treat. there's a nice area to sit at the back where it's nice and quiet, as well as spaces at the front if you enjoy the coffee shop chatter and sunlight. the drinks are kind of expensive, so it's a good thing they taste really good
Great coffee roasts and tastes! Staff were a bit cold though. There was no music playing when we visited which gave it a bit of a sterile feel. Also this location's layout is a bit claustrophobic and the decorations don't incentivize staying particularly the signs there to deter students from staying and studying for more than 1hr.
So-so atmosphere. Facilities are new and clean, but overall feels a little stale. Staff wasn't terribly friendly although not unfriendly, and coffee was decent - better than Starbucks/TH, but didn't blow my mind either.
There's not a better cafe around. The coffee is always excellent, interesting features, and satisfying snacks. The decor is stunning, too! Highly recommend Balzac's for whenever you're jonesing for a coffee or hot beverage of any stripe.
They have veey good espresso and the people behind the counter are very nice and friendly. They also have their own roaster and sell beans. Their collection is quite good and has become my go to place for beans now. People who like a dark roast I recommend trying the Peruvian or Ethiopian roast from here. They have a decent collection of baked goods worth trying!
