Had a wonderful stay at Tekarra Lodge! We stayed at a Lodge (studio) room which is located above the lodge restaurant. There wasn't any extra noise resulting from being located above a restaurant. The room was newly renovated, clean and modern. The bed and pillows were so comfortable and the room had blackout curtains. The lodge has a wonderful view of the Athabasca river and has easy access to hiking trails. Hot breakfast was included with our stay and it was delicious! All the staff were very friendly and helpful. As other reviewers have pointed out, this room did not have a TV and the washroom fan can be a little loud. These factors did not affect my stay in a bad way. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Tekarra Lodge and would recommend to others.

First off, pet friendly had me sold. Besides being able to walk our two fur children around the national park which was pure excitement for them, we had an extremely clean cabin that resembled a tiny house with all the required amenities including a wood burning fireplace. The restaurant on site was rated one of the best in Jasper and didn't dissapoint. Arctic Char and wild boar and bacon meatballs were unreal. On top of that we brought our three month old who decided to become fussy while we were eating and the server offered to take him for a tour of the restaurant which kept him happy enough for us to eat. Cant beat customer service like that. We would definitely come back for round 2.

We found the cabin to be clean and cozy. They take obvious pride in their facility and it shows. There was a power outage while we were there and Alanna was very helpful and showed genuine concern related to our comfort. Do not hesitate if you care about clean and polite lodgings.

Overpriced, old and not everything is in working order. Stayed one night at Tekarra Lodge in cabin 18. Cabin was very small and had no view to speak of. There were no TV and the WiFi was extremely weak. Toilet was quite small, as was everything in the cabin and door did not close properly. You actually had to slam the toilet door for it to latch on. Walls were thin and we could hear what the couple in the adjoining cabin was doing. The worst thing that happened was the hot water ran out halfway during my shower. I had to wash off the soap with ice cold water!! After we approached them about this, we were told that the hot water tank was shared with another adjoining cabin. Apparently the adjoining cabin had used up all the hot water and we needed to wait for 30 minutes before hot water could be restored. So we waited and guess what? Hot water didn't come back. This should not have happened and we should be informed about this during our check in! Since we could hear what the other couple in the adjoining cabin was doing, we could have taken our showers way after the adjoining cabin had. This was the most expensive stay during our Canadian trip ($300+/ night) and we expected better. We went around Jasper and found that there were cabins that charged lower rates with better views and activities. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Our room was quite small but fully met our needs. If you want a traditional Jasper cabin experience this is an excellent choice. The bed was small but extremely comfortable. The rooms are dated but have had somewhat recent facelifts. Overall our experience was a good one but this stay is definitely not a "value" selection.
