TD Canada Trust

Completely understaffed, I don't know if there is any time of day where you don't spend minimum 30 minutes waiting here. They never answer the phone, and if you do leave a message no guarantee anyone will phone you back. I have called repeatedly until someone answers before and they have the audacity to sound annoyed that they have to answer a customer call. I do not recommend using this branch for any service.

In the past I have received nothing but problems from this branch. The small business manager has worked with me and I am now satisfied. I strongly recommend that any payments to Revenue Canada be done online thru the TD website or the Revenue Canada website (especially for small business). Avoid having the tellers process this.

So I'd like to start this by saying I've been with TD for over 10 years and I've had nothing but good things to say about this location and the employees. The other day I go in to TD to do my typical banking. I don't know who this lady was or who she thinks she is (apparently she thinks she's someone important) but she incredibly rude to everyone around her including me, basically leaves me standing there, after waiting 15min in line, just to bark orders at the other employees. Then is snappy with me after questioning why I don't use the account often, in which I had told her why. I then say I keep getting mail to sign up for a credit card and how I don't want the mail for it anymore. I say have a good night start walking away and she has the nerve to tell me that I would need more money in my account to be a responsible credit card holder(this infuriates me!) i don't care what her opinion is it's the fact it was basically yelled at me like she needed everyone to know she had the final say. I use this account for the bare minimum of life. after this terrible experience I'm closing this account for good. I'm thoroughly disappointed.

I would go to a different branch or a different bank for any type of registered account (RDSP, RESP, RRSP, TFSA, etc.), since they don't seem to have much experience setting them up here. Due to a form that was not correctly filled out by the TD personnel, I was not able to open my son's RDSP before the end of the year (even though my initial meeting with the bank was in November) and was not able to get grants for this year. Previously, I also had a few issues with RESPs and corresponding grants not being dealt with correctly at this branch (e.g. they missed applying for one of the grants).

Nothing but bad things to say. Have personal and business accounts as well as TD merchant. DO NOT bank here. Caused me to lose hundreds of dollars with TD merchant and screwed up on two cheques. Their response "well our mistake but we can give you like $50 to help" wooooooo.
