TD Canada Trust

Was a long time client with a solid record, and was looking to change/update a few of my banking products. Had to jump through hoops... was promised X (best rate) by their representative in the branch, and then only offered Y (no significant improvement over our existing rate), without explanation. Also tried to "upsell" into services we didn't need, just to make us "qualify" for the programs that on the surface existed in one format, but were only truly offered with lots of "hoops" to jump through to get the exact product as advertised. Asked for a manager, and we were told they couldn't help. We shopped around and decided to change banks, and was treated like we were long time clients at the new institution. When we went in to close our accounts, not even a single question as to why we were closing things down - like they couldn't have cared less. I'm directing this review towards this branch because of how poorly we were treated as a customer by the representative, although this could extend to TD as a whole based on how they instruct their staff to "work" with clients.

I feel welcomed when doing business at this location. My expectations are far over met. Recommend this branch to anyone. Saug.

Very friendly staff! Efficient and quick service, listen to my needs and don't push services I don't need.
