You can see my review on TikTok: Heygirlhey_OhionnFirst of all, I’m still trying to figure out what the resort part is. Are you seeing the swimming pool and the hot tub can make it a resort I just thought that made it a hotel.nnSecond of all, I had no hot water in my sink. I had hot water in my tub just no hot water in my sink.nnThe room smells like Granny smoked eight packs a day in it and it’s very dingy, the television doesn’t work not that I was watching TV but I wanted it on for background noise and all I could get was the weather channel frustrating at night when you can’t sleep because the AC/heater goes tick tick tick all night long.nnIf I didn’t pay $186 for this room at night, I would not feel this way. This room is definitely not worth that and worth maybe $90 a night. The staff is nice, but they can’t do anything about the price and can’t do anything about my miserable experience. Can’t do anything about my new hot water or my TV not working and basically I was just there to suck it up I guess.nnGo ahead and check out my Review which I’m happy to leave up. Not looking for compensation, but definitely not worth the money you’re spending.nnThe reason I gave it two stars I didn’t find any bedbugs, but hey
Real Talk Review:nnI saw dozens of very poor reviews from recent weeks prior to my trip, and was a little freaked out, tbh.nnThe stay was fine.nnLet me lay on the line what you can expect from this location:nnThe rooms have beds, pillows, blankets, towels, washcloths, complimentary soap and shampoo, a TV, a mini fridge, and great Air Conditioning we came during a heat wave...and it held its own. They do NOT have: in-room coffee maker, microwave, safe. There IS a microwave in the lobby for guest use, as well as 24/7 coffee.nnIt is Mayfly season, and those bugs were out in force - hotel did a great job clearing the debris each morning we were there.nnIf you are the type of person who needs multiple towels for an overnight stay, consider bringing along a spare or two. Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Rule Number One, Don't Forget Your Towel. Some guests last night were berating the clerk and using profanity in front of my child because the hotel was out of fresh towels. Do your part, try to have some understanding. It's a holiday week. They're doing their best.nnOn that note, EVERY staff member we came in contact with was helpful, and many were pleasant. Service work is tough - if you've been there, you understand.nnFor the location, and the season, price was more than justified. You could do a lot worse.nnAll that said, no, it's not a 5-star review. Did we have any problems during our stay? None. Beach access AND a pool? Bar ON the beach? In-house restaurant? Come on. It's fine.nnEnjoy life. It is short, and you never know how long you have. Be kind.
Clean, quiet rooms. Had a room overlooking the water. Beach is beautiful. Didnt care for the outside bar. Sat down to grab a bite to eat and was never waited on so we left. Other than that service was good. The area is beautiful. Outlets in the room didn't work except the bathroom. I love that the pier is right outside.
We got a room that was facing the beach and it was amazing. We got up early after the storm and went out and found one of the biggest pieces of sea glass I have ever found, right on their private beach. The staff was very friendly, we ended up missing breakfast both mornings as it ends at 9. Great location, right in the middle of everything. Rooms were clean, no complaints there.
Room was okay, hotel staff was good, but the restaurant experience was poor. Arrived in the evening to a mostly empty dining room. They assured us they were open. Ordered a drink and when they came back for our order. We are out of that. Made a second choice...we're e are all out. Ask for the bill for the drinks so we could go grab a pizza across the street and they claimed we shouldn't leave because we had to much to drink. The waitress stalled us out for 20 minutes and actually started crying. We were calm and insistent and never caused a scene. After we were finally allowed to pay, went and got a pizza, which we should have started with. It was very strange.
