Michael Ranger, the owner, treated my wife and I very poorly. He is a homophope and doesn't like families. He is a pervert. Was caught looking in the window at my daughters 13 year girl friend while she was in the showerHe says his motel is pet friendly but gets angry if an dog is outside. The rooms have black mold on the walls and infested with cockroaches. There are plumbing issues with all the bathrooms. The woman he has managing for him, Kay, will look in your windows and see what you have she can steal then wait till you leave and steal it. She over charges peoples stay to give herself a piece of the profit. They also will charge you based on appearance and what you drive. Kay will flip people off even children with no reason at all.  Captains Quarters motel isn't worth anyone's stay.

Definitely not 5 star,but  very friendly and quiet. Stayed 2 nights on our honeymoon.
