Crows Nest Tawas City Hotel

Choosing Crows Nest Tawas City was a very smart choice for me, as it served my business and pleasure needs !!! I was very much impressed by the cleanliness of entire hotel, enjoyed Indoor Swimming Pool. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped in setting up my laptop in the conference meeting room. It is a perfect location for travelers who are on business trip, as it offers most of the facilities - 40 seater conference room, a television, projector with screen and high-speed Internet service. I was also surprised that hotel has a fitness center, guest laundry facilities, Ample Parking area. Hotel has very economical, reasonable rates. Also, very close to areas of interest. If have a chance to come to this area, I would definitely stay here again.

Buyer beware! We reserved a room, but had to cancel. We emailed them 17 days in advance to cancel. We got no reply, so we called and spoke to whoever was working at the desk. He assured us that our reservation was cancelled and that he had seen our email request for cancellation. He also assured us that we didn't need a confirmation number or email regarding the cancellation. However, the motel still charged our credit card $99.99. After numerous phone calls to the management we still have not received a refund to our credit card. Every time we call, we are assured that the refund will be done. That was June - its now September and still no refund. Certainly not a trustworthy business to deal with.

Service was ok rooms are rather small to be priced as they are really enjoyed the pool room and the hot tub was diffently a plus

My family would have been better off sleeping in the car. Definitely not worth a dime. Anyone who says this place is clean must have extremely low standards. The box springs had blood on them as did the shower curtain not to mention the quarter inch of dust on everything and I'm leaving a lot out of the description/experience. I'm not a mean person ,it's just beyond nasty.
