Timberlane Resorts

Timberlane was such a great experience! They have everything you could want in a rental: beach, grass, kitchen, pet friendly and so much more! We rented two cabins which had more than enough room for our group of people! It was so nice to have a cabin right on the lake! It doesn't get any better than Timberlane, I can't wait to come back again! The staff is the most accommodating I have ever experienced at a hotel or rental, and I travel for a living!

For many years we've rented a number of different vacation homes on the water for our annual family vacation. We kept moving around looking I guess for something different, or maybe something more. Since first renting with Timberlane Resorts several years ago we no longer are looking elsewhere, because everyone is so enthusiastic about staying at this place! We love staying at the resort's "White House" unit. The boat is docked right out the front door, and the beach sand starts right out the side door. The very private beach is beautiful sand, off the wind sheltered side of Tawas Bay. There is a wonderful little grocery store right next door, (saved us so much vacation time not having to "run to town" all the time. You are located next to a full service marina, but the activity there is not noticeable at our rental. We've rented pontoon boats, PWC's & kayaks from them. All these kind of vacation toys are just a very short walk from the White House front door. Management is very professional and accommodating. Big plus is that they allow us to bring our dog along for the vacation. They give you lots of personal space and freedom to do "your vacation thing", but hardly a day goes by that someone doesn't informally check in with you to make sure that there are no problems and that we are doing well. You are a stones throw from the Tawas State Park light house and all the different activities they have going on there. Also, Tawas City is just the best northern town to spend vacation time in. We already have our 2016 week reserved and are so looking forward to it!
