I don't even want to give a star but in order to rate it I have to. Cabin 1 door will not shut pushes right open, all other doors inside won't shut right, cobwebs and spiders everywhere a hair under the pillow from the previous person. Asked for some money off or at least our money back for the next night so we could find a different place to stay and Helen who seemed like a nice old lady got really nasty about both ideas. Told me she has known for 35 years that the door never shut but failed to tell me that when I called to reserve it. According to her it's not a dangerous city and it's safe so we don't need it to shut. When I mentioned about how filthy it was she told me I was up north and then slammed her door in my face... I will NEVER EVER stay at this place ever again.

The owner is nice and the people next door at captains quarters motel are to and they have a pool for the summer

Had room 4. Looked nice, but, had small ants in the kitchenette area. Bed was a double and told us it was a queen. Bed was horrible. Could feel the wood slats on the mattress and hard. Could have slept on floor! Got bit by spider or ant in bed. Dust behind the dresser an inch thick. Tv's were so small & blurry couldn't even watch it. No laundry bag to put dirty clothes I., no hair dryer, no Kleenex. The shower head when u turned it on was like needles hitting you. Couldn't even stand it. Washed up n left. OH, way over prices. Tried to tell us we had the best. UCK Next time stay at Bay Inn for 80.00 n better accommodations!! LEsson learned.😡
