Tavola Mia Bistro

I absolutely love this restaurant! All of this dishes I ordered were home made, authentic, and tasted amazing. This restaurant compares to and even surpasses many restaurants I have ate at in Italy. I highly recommend this restaurant and I will definitely be going back soon. Definitely my favorite Italian restaurant!

Just Finished a business lunch at Tavola Mia, and hands down it was the best lunch I have ever had! The servings were generous and absolutely delicious! It was fairly quiet being a late lunch, so I cannot attest to the ambience of the restaurant. I will say however, If the owner is as attentive to all of her guests as she was us, Tavola Mia Bistro will be around for a long, long time. Thank you Daniella!

A steak served on runny, watery, what seemed like instant package mashed potatoes. That was 39$! I can get better steak at the Keg, including a better cut. My first and only ever visit. The restaurant is always empty. The food is nothing compared to other italian restaurants in Barrie. Also over charged my bill. Took a long time to get served. One waitress only. When I walked in it was not as pretty decorated as the one decorated table in the photo. This business needs a lot of upgrades, including better food.

We spent a great New Years here with 10 of us last night. The food was fantastic!! This will be our new fav place to get great home cooked Italian food with lovely service. They also catered to our vegan family members and some allergies. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Dinner with our family and the food was amazing. Loved the homemade pasta with the fresh seafood. Also the homemade tiramisu was the perfect dessert. Nice to go somewhere that they care about the food they serve, It all came out piping hot and fresh. Service was fantastic we will definatly be back.

One of the worst culinary experiences I’ve ever had. Unfortunately google obligates users to at least 1 star... which is doing this place a favour. From our 1st dish to the last dish served was 40 minutes between. We had to return 6/12 dishes. We did not receive the proper cutlery to even eat our food. When our table said something the manager came out and argued how they only serve AUTHENTIC Italian, but I’m very certain the Italians do not serve food cold and stale. At this point we just wanted our bills so we could leave, but the obviously new at serving waitress did not stay on top of our bills. We ended up having to calculate our own bills as the server was to flustered to think.

The best pasta in Barrie hands down! I'm a chef myself and I can assure you this place has top notch pasta dishes! Highly recommend it to anyone who loves a HUGE bowl of delicious authentic pasta! Will be back again.

I tried your restaurant tonight on a recommendation from a friend and WOW! I had the penne alla vodka and added chicken and it was amazing. Big chunks of bacon and chicken with the pasta and sauce and it's a winner! And very well priced. Thanks I'll be back!

Couldn't wait to get home and write this review! Absolutely worst service I've experienced in who knows how many years. It's my mistake for not walking out because frankly I should have. The restaurant is clearly understaffed, disorganized and over priced. Waited 40 mins for two bowls of pasta. I will not be returning, do not waste your appetite, money or evening here. Big big mistake.

INCREDIBLE PASTA DISHES!! Homemade pasta everyday, this is seriously quality food. Young ladies were very pleasant to deal with, and this is now our go-to for Italian. Carbonara pasta was to die for : Yummy
