Italian Eatery

This eatery was recommended to me by someone who knew I liked veal sandwiches and was a regular at California Kitchen. I decided to give them aa try. I was expecting a simply eatery but was surprised that it is also a mini Italian market with a good selection of items for the Italian loving palate. The sweets looked good as well and I'll be back to check them out and give them a review. My sandwich was served on a long rather than round bun. While it was good, it was not excellent. I felt like I was eating more bread than meat. The sandwich was a little light on the sauce and not as hot as I expected, especially when i had ordered an extra hot sandwich. Its priced at $10 which is lower than the $12 at California Kitchen. However, I think the latter sandwich is worth the extra $2. I would recommend giving them a try as my friend liked it enough to recommend them to me. I'll be back to taste some more of their offerings. This review and rating is for the veal sandwich only.

I come here all the time for dinner when I’m craving Italian. Calamari is our go to appetizer. Their Alfredo pasta is my favourite. And can never go wrong with their desserts. My family and I did not like the mussels but they have great customer service and said they would replace it for us. Order also comes with garlic knots.

Absolutely amazing authentic italian place. Everything was so tasty and flavourfull that I cannot stand not to vizit them as often as possible. If you are looking for any kind of italian pasta and homemade food this is the place you should give a try. My favourite is chicken in a bun which is almost twoce as big than other sandwich places and pricewize you will be surprized.

Manager wasn't happy to be there, was somewhat rude, but respectful, to the staff in front of me in Italian assuming I couldn't understand. Shop: Nice little market, amazing atmosphere; although most products are premium price tag, but medium - lower quality, with some exceptions Food & drink: Pizza was on the cheaper looking side. good nonetheless. Cofee was horrible - from a machine, Americano, Latte & Cappuchino. I couldn't even get a black cofee americano with no water. You know the coffee is bad when all the staff is drinking Starbucks. Absolutely would come back, but im getting my cofee somewhere else.

Had a great experience here. Enjoyed browsing their shelves of interesting items. Tried their lasagna and their delicious cannolis. Friendly people and great food. Will be back.

Incredible!! First time going and definitely not the last. This place is a must try! We had the veal on a bun and it was the best ever! Customer service is outstanding. Love the mini market. Can't wait to go back and try something else.

I love this place. The food is amazing, I eat here a couple of times a week. The staff is polite and friendly. Thanks Italian eatery for your wonderful service and your renovation looks great also

Decided to stop by the Italian eatery to try a pizza made fresh to order great pizza thin light good dough good sauce good cheese highly recommended probably the best pizza in the Barrie areaFood: 5/5

Tonight was my first experience eating at the Italian Eatery and all i have to say is OMG AMAZING. We ordered the family meal deal for 2 and have enough leftovers for tomorrow. it was delicious and we will be ordering again soon !

Best tiramisu and cannolis I've ever had! They fill the cannolis once you order them, can't get much fresher than that! The grocery section is well-stocked with various pastas, frozen meals, sweets, wines, and much more. Definitely will be back.Food: 5/5
