Taste Good B-B-Q

First time trying Too Good To Go, this pack was advertised as $7.99 with an original value of $24.99. Order total with tax is $9.03. We knew we were getting leftovers but should at least get $24.99 worth that was edible as per thr app. The bbq meat was all bones, it felt like they threw that in to make it look like it was 2 packs of food. We got 1 full box of the Fried tofu and roast pork, price of that on menu is $15.99. So maybe consider that we got discount on that. Won't be getting from them anymore on TGTG.

The food is very tasty. Like a lot of reviews I tried them through a To Good To Go surprise bag and I found the portion to be quite generous. Staff was incredibly friendly and the experience was much better than most pickups I've had through the app.Food: 5/5

My family bought a small roasted Cantonese style piglet for a celebration this past weekend from Taste Good BBQ. The price paid was $240 cash. There is ample parking spaces. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and explained the difference between a Filipino Lechon versus the one we bought. The Filipino lechon is only available in the weekend. It is roasted with a closed stomach, and the skin is much smoother than the Cantonese style. It comes with a special brown sauce. The roasted pig we bought was roasted with an opened stomach and the skin is slightly textured. It is eaten with Chinese Hoisen Sauce. The one thing I immediately noticed with our roasted pig is the thickness and amount of fat visible in one bite. The fat didn't melt much away, maybe the skin needed more poking in several stages of the cooking process.

After seeing a bunch of negative reviews related to toogoodtogo of this store, I tried myself today on my way home and it was actually not bad, so I decided to write an unconventional long review. For 7.99 I got a HUGE box of mixed tofu and pork I think it includes two type of pork and a seperate box of a full chicken thigh. Yes it won't be really worthy as much as 24 but it's not far from that, which is definitely above average compared to Toronto TGTG stores' current ethics. Food tastes quite not bad too. Attitude is good. Much better than my stereotypical expectation from an asian BBQ store. Plus food was already packed in a insulated plastic bag which saved me from making a mess. This store has 3.3 star on TGTG. It's not great but not among those terrible ones either. I recommend you try it yourself if you live nearby and are interested.

A tiny small place for BBQ pork.ducks..etc. quality are ok...BBQ pork was crispy. Off course is not the best but is ok from what I ate today. UseThere is only couple table for customers to dine in . They are major in take out,delivery n part trays.They had many good choices for party tray .is good idea to order them when you have a huge party at home, you don't have to worry n cook for yourself....rather spent the time to entertain your guest together keep in mind. Dine in only good for people like me single person ..in a rush to have a quick ok BBQ meat meal. there is no fancy decoration in here. One suggestion t will be more attractive to customer if they can clean the outside window..

Just ordered 60lbs of Filipino style lechon on July 29, 2023 for my birthday but almost whole of it goes to garbage as it was too salty and the meat like a rubber. I don't know how they cook it. Never againFood: 1/5

Ordered their 3 BBQ Combo for only $9.99! Great price, portions, and quality of food. I had the BBQ Chicken and Peking Duck which were both amazing but the Roasted Pork was one of the best I’ve had! As a Filipina, lechon is a dish that can be a disappointment if not done right but this place really deserves the name “Taste Good Lechon” with that thick crispy skin that gives a satisfying crunch. I’ll be coming again! The owners are nice and friendly and they have a variety of foods & party trays to try. Thank you!

Ordered food here on too good to go. The food was very bad quality, pretty much not edible. The front desk guy didn't wash his hands before touching the meat. Also the place was really dirty and run down. Don't recommend.Food: 1/5

Do not get the roast pork. Selling day old pork for premium pricing, and this is at lunch time. Rock hard skin, cold and dry meat. I should have known better than to buy it. And nobody else should get it either. The person at the counter was really nice, but no customer service can save how poorly this roast pork was.

I bought a TooGoodToGo order for $7.99. There are 2 boxes in the bag. One contains a few pieces of BBQ ribs which have very little meat. The other box is fried tofu with leftover pork belly. Taste No Good. The food doesn't even worth $7.99, forget about the $24 value. I'd never buy from it again.
