Wilson's Haus of Lechon

New branch in Scarborough, the original is at Bathurst and Wilson. Their dishes are decent but expensive for the amount you get. The barely a pound liempo pork belly looks great under the warming lights but it isn't crunchy anymore and at $18, that's a lot of coin for a small amount of soggy belly. The lumping Shanghai tastes good but at $1 a piece, again, expensive. Realize that everything is going up in costs but if we want Filipino food to go mainstream, there has got to be a way to balance quality and price.

The food here is terrible. It was all cold. I wonder if their heating trays are even on.. The lechon was too fatty, tasted like smelly pork and, the worst part, the skin was chewy instead of crispy. The lumpia was fine except for the cold part. Same with the skewers. Lastly, service is very slow.

Looking forward to enjoy their amazing craft of Lechon without the treck out west. The seating is well spaced out along with a clean and brightly lit dining area. The order counter looks to accommodate a larger selection of yummy foods to enjoy

This was our first time visiting this place, and it will probably our last. Tried the fried belly for $17 to go, pretty expensive for 1 strip of belly, ok. So I expect it to be super crispy, right? We got home and it wasn't anything near crispy! Like how long have you cooked this? How long has this been sitting there? Pork BBQ was ok. Now I don't feel bad not giving a tip.

Excellent! Tried the liempo today and previously tried the lechon baboy. Both were succulent and well served, with the skin on both wonderfully crispy. The pancit is well cooked, with a nice peppery punch and plentiful veggies. The staff and service are wonderful, super polite, very inviting, and giving free Tagalog lessons while you wait. Love them, love the food, will be going back soon.

The chicken skewers and spring rolls are so yummy. Definitely will be trying the other items on the menu when I return.

So glad that you opened a branch here in Scarborough! No need for us to drive down to Wilson when craving strikes. All foods are mouth-watering esp the litson, very satisfying ! And i love the extra pound everytime i came in plus d fun conversing cebuano as i am as well!

Amazing and friendly staff. The new scarborough location is bigger and even more inviting. The first thing you see is 'To God be the Glory' which is really reflective of how kind and accomodating they are. And the food yumms! Better check out their liempo and lechon manok. Sisig is also a fave now, and kinilaw

If my doctor did not put me on a diet, I would come here everyday! The best Cebu Philippines cuisine in Toronto.

Spacious place, friendly staff and great food. Too bad some of the menu items were already out of stock, 2 hours before closing when we arrived.
