This place was some of the best authentic Mexican food I have found. The salsa bar was amazing also! The most moist, and flavorful shredded beef in my enchiladas. Definitely try their place, you won’t be disappointed.
I’ve been here two other times before. Once in 2013, last year with my boyfriend and again just recently and all the times the service has been quick and great. I had the cheese enchilada combo with a large coke. Beans were flavorful. Rice was a little on the hard side but it could have just been the time I came. Still great though.
I stumbled upon Taco Salsa while staying at an Airbnb a couple of blocks away. This place blew my socks off. I went not once, but twice while in Bend. The food is so good. You can tell everything is made fresh from scratch. The tortillas alone are worth their own review but to keep this reasonably short I will just say this place is not to be missed if you are in Bend. I am a lifelong connoisseur of Mexican food and this restaurant is off the charts amazing. My only regret was that I couldn’t make it back for a third visit. I will be returning to Bend at some point just to eat here again.
I'm from Cali, and came here because I was wanting tacos at 130am like any Mexican would. Let me tell you. They came through !! The tacos here are nice and juicy. The enchiladas are even better. I had the shredded beef. They come with shredded onions and peppers. You won't be disappointed
I was rudely “rushed” 3 x at the drive thru window. I ended up ordering the wrong order. The tostadas were “plainly made”. I found what I wanted to order $62 later! Very frustrating experience.
I have been a vegetarian for 23 years and I ordered the "supreme veggie" burrito. I read all the ingredients on the menu and didn't think to ask if it is vegetarian because I assumed it only included the ingredients listed on the menu and that it was the obvious vegetarian option. I ate most of the burrito and later a friend told me, "You know, they use lard in the beans." I called and they confirmed that they do use animal fat in the supreme veggie burrito. It's really important to me not to eat other animals and I am disappointed that they don't say anything about the "supreme veggie" not being vegetarian, since that is the burrito that most vegetarians probably assume is our option. 0/10 would not recommend. It was also quite overpriced.
Food was horrible. We ordered through DoorDash, and the food arrived quickly, but it was cold and EXTREMELY salty. It was so salty we had to throw the entire meal away. The churro was hard and cold, too. Almost as if it came out of the freezer. I don’t know how they have so many good reviews. I moved from Texas and this is definitely not authentic tasting Mexican food. I’ve had much better since moving here.
This is our go-to place when we want Mexican and don't want to step out of our car like when it's cold outside lol. We love that drive thru option, so convenient! We usually get fish and carne asada tacos. Last time we got 6 plus one side, we spent $27 so it's somewhat reasonable and expected. TBH it's more worth it here than a place like El Sancho where I'd have to get the 6 tacos for myself just to feel full. So far our experience here is that it's basic and safe. Not disappointed but it isn't the best Mexican in town.
This is quick Mexican food, not your first date kind of place. Knowing that is important to have the right expectations. The food is great, it's quickly prepared, and it's authentic. I hit this place up every now and then when I want something quick and easy and delicious. Thanks for the great food.Food: 5/5
This may be the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. The guacamole was runny and tasteless. The burrito and tostada we got were similarly bland and lacked seasoning. Best to avoid this place.
