Excellent service and authentic Mexican cuisine alongside delicious classic cafe beverages! My boyfriend and I were looking for a good meal and a coffee on the long weekend and happened upon this gem on the way home from Kettle Valley, would definitely return in the future! The staff were friendly and helpful and I have zero complaints about the food, which was filling and beautifully presented. My only complaint was the poor lighting inside the cafe. It felt a little dreary and sleepy.
I stumbled upon this little gem in the upper mission yesterday when I was in the area. Didn’t really expect much from the veggie burrito I ordered but my gosh, it was HUGE and flavourful! The filling was delicious and the lone staff was so accommodating. He made sure I got my Valentina sauce and prepared my burritos real quick. I want to come back and try their tacos special sometime soon! I highly recommend Taco House! People in the upper mission are so lucky to have this restaurant around, and I will certainly make the trip to eat some fantastic burritos again.

Cold tortillas, chorizo is not prepared properly chopped and fried rajas have no cream, tortilla chips stale and green salsa straight out of a jar or can. I like to support our local businesses but you need Taco lessons first amigo, 3rd. time we tried and the last. Shame
Very meh food. I went there because of all the amazing reviews and just don’t understand how they say they had such an amazing experience. Food was cold and they have very small portions. Way more expensive than the nice Mexican restaurants downtown. Which to be completely honest should be the opposite… not very impressed.
Look no further! In looking for a yummy, healthy and filling bite while touring Lakeshore, we came across this gem. Authentic Mexican tacos and burritos, well-priced and packaged. The service was great. Can't wait to come back.
Awesome authentic Taco’s!! Fast and fresh. Love going here to support a local business in our area as owner is a super friendly. We always order a few different kinds of taco’s and order extra chips and pico for later. Lunch special is great value too.
Got take-out tacos for lunch. Was excellent and the owner/manager who got my order together was incredibly friendly. The tacos had unbelievable flavor. The guacamole is fresh and the spicy salsa is true to its name. The only way I could see these authentic tacos improving slightly, is by making them less authentic and using floor tortillas as an option - that's just my preference, but will definitely be coming back here. Maybe next time I'll try the Burritos.
This place really stepped up their game from the last time I came. The tacos were big and delicious. Will highly recommend from now on
Extremely disappointed. 25% more cost than several other taco spots. There was very little protein and bagged slaw on 3 different tacos & there were no added sauces. The fish was heavily laden with batter and grease.
