Cantina del Centro Kelowna

Tried this place for the first time and was totally surprised with the good food and service. The host Jordan was amazing. He explained everything very well and was very friendly. We ordered 2 portions of chicken wings, 1 portion of kids chicken tenders and beer. The quantity of the food is excellent compared to other places, well worth your money. If you haven't been here then do give this place a shot, you'll surely love it. And we will be back for sure! Visited again Aug 2nd - My experience was as wonderful as the 1st one. My host Chris was fantastic and friendly so the service here is stupendous, hands down Loved the ambience, this time around we sat inside and it was totally different than sitting in the patio. It felt like dining in a different restaurant. Loved the place, highly recommended!! PS: Posting new pics.

A great restaurant in downtown Kelowna if you are looking for something different. The menu is very innovative and has lots of vegetarian options I really liked the atmosphere and the vibe. The host was very friendly and explained the specials very well with details. The waitress was also great. So from my point of view the service was perfect. The food was fantastic. The chips, salsa, and guacamole weren't store brands. You could see that they actually made them. We tried a few different food. All amazing. The taste was fantastic. Overall, it was a wonderful experience I will definitely go back here, and I definitely recommend it

Portions were a little small for the price, but food was still good. Our waitress, upon guiding our party of four to the table and throughout our lunch, did not seem happy to be speaking to us. Seemed tired of interacting with us from the get-go and didn't smile once. Maybe she had been having a hard morning, but it definitely put a damper to our mood and how we felt about the service. It also took quite some time to have our orders taken; we had to take the initiative after about 5 to 7 minutes of waiting passively. My friend seated across from me noted she caught sight of a server gathering a stack of dishes near the cash register counter, looked at the dishes, and swept off something before taking it somewhere most likely a table but can't be certain. this was a little questionable.. but overall, I wish our experience here would have been better. Visited for lunch in late August.

Service was so great even though every single table was full! We only ordered drinks and some apps but they were both so delicious! Loved the guacamole and chips and salsa! Such great options for vegan / plant based friends!

This is the best Mexican fare I have ever had that wasn't downtown Tijuana. Second time in a year I have made the effort to come here from out of town. The Especial margarita is heaven, the dip platter, perfect starter bite, and the tacos win every time. It was busy and our server tried her best run right off her feet. Always a smile on her face. Can't wait until the next vacation to come back.

Mushroom burrito was pretty good despite not tasting like any other mushroom burrito I have had. I did swap out the vegan cheese though. I do wish that it came with something other than just the burrito for $20. The kids enchilada and tater tots are an easy hit with the kids which I always appreciate.

We had an amazing meal! I love that the tacos are a la carte so you can order as many or as few as you would like. We had the al pastor and chicken tinga tacos and they were to die for. We shared the Mexi fries and will definitely get those again. I had the margaritas tasting flight, it was an awesome way to try something I normally wouldn't have. Our server was super friendly and nice. I will definitely be back the next time I am in Kelowna.

Came in for dinner and drinks for a bachelorette. We put our name on the wait list and it took around 2hrs to get in for a table of 9. Servers were awesome and super friendly. They brought us a round of tequila which made the bride to be feel special! I ordered tacos. Chicken one was fabulous, fish one wasn’t it and it was dry and the shrimp one was great! Also 10/10 recommend the nachos!

We had their nachos and burrito. Both of them were massive. In the future, I hope to try their tacos, but I’m sure they’re great as well. Great service overall. If the weather is nice, you have the option of dining either indoor or outdoor.

We enjoyed our experience. This was the last stop before we continued on our vacation to the next city They have birria tacos off the menu. We enjoyed that and the shrimp tacos. So delicious. Ordered the Carne asada taco. Wasn't good. Very hard and tough meat. But they were kind enough to remove that from the bill The nachos and guacamole were good too. The drink was ok. Ordered a virgin margarita But the service and staff were great. Dhafta sorry for the incorrect spelling of the name was super kind and helpful. Definitely will visit next time we are in kelowna
