Since our doors first opened in 1954, Canadian families have been coming back to Swiss Chalet generation after generation. Our rotisserie ovens only accept fresh (never frozen), grain-fed, Canadian Grade A chickens, because quality is all we know. So what will it be? A Quarter Chicken with fries?

Update: Judging by the blanket statement response from the restaurant below and lack of an actual apology, I’m not interested in following up further. You have the review, so learn to train your staff properly. You know what time frame and date I arrived, so check your cameras. Hiring lazy, entitled and rude staff won’t do your highly disorganized location any favors. If the staff acts in such a way, it speaks to how management runs the place. After reading further reviews for your location, I now understand why it’s doing so poorly.nnOriginal review: Absolutely awful service tonight, we left before being served because of the amount of time it took to actually even get noticed by a waitress. We were seated by a blonde hostess and were ignored by the black waitress who was only concerned with clearing tables and settling bills. When we got up and said we were leaving another blonde employee gave us complete attitude when we said why. I asked the hostess for the rude employees name and she said she didn’t know. There seemed to be unlimited employees clearing tables but only one waitress taking orders and settling bills.
Sat in our seats for 20 min before a waitress camenMy meal showed up and was ice cold. Told the waitress and she said if I can wait 10-15 min she would get me a hot meal. I declined because I was sitting with my in-laws and they were already complaining that we had been there an hour and hadn’t received our food. Waitress said manager would come over but never did. Our server then came back and said they would discount my meal and a free dessert which I declined . I am a frequent customer there but service and food quality has been at a huge decline in the last 2 years. My last visit was for lunch and I had to send my soup back cause it was cold but that waitress was awesome and corrected it immediately and I was happy. Food is getting more expensive here and I’m willing to pay if it’s good. But this wasn’t.nWhile I received a $6 discount I am not sure how they are going to stay open! I overheard the couple behind me complaining of the same thing regarding the service being slow and food not hot.nI do not recommend coming here in evenings or weekends but lunch waitress looks after you.
I love this restaurant. I’ve been there many times for dinner with my family. The food is always hot and fresh plus the service is very pleasant and fast. Good portion sizes. Manager checks upon the tables personally. I’ve made some good memories at this location. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to all
My favorite restaurant im so glad they brought back the Garlic Cheese Loaf and Burger! I would like to see the side of fries for adult meals come with a little more fries! Seems like a children's size portion of fries.
***Updated***nI received an email and follow up from my original post below from the manager at this location Jeanine. She apologized for the portion size and advised they always try to have a perfect ratio and was very apologetic.nShe offered me a credit for me to use when I was ready - one month later Jeanine is true to her word and I had a hot, steaming, and much bigger dark quarter chicken waiting for me this Friday night, served by her with a warm smile and genuine gratitude and apology. Thank you for having such amazing customer service.nnCan't believe my quarter leg is smaller than the bun and the workers proceeded to leave it that way. So disappointed
