Sweet Minihaha Campground

We always have the best of times. Even got married here on July 15 2017. Everyone the nicest and so caring about everyone near or far. Keep up the awesome job and we will keep telling everyone that Sweet Minihaha is the greatest campground around. Wisconsin Johnson is also the best at being a DJ/KARAOKE host.

Very impressed with this place; one of the best private campgrounds I've stayed at. We stayed out on the peninsula on a river front site. This is definitely a partying area, and I can't speak to the rest of the campground in that respect. Went tubing, and it was a pretty raucous experience at times as well (and a lot of fun!). Staff was friendly for the most part, security guy stopped by and introduced himself as we were setting up. The bathroom and shower was surprisingly clean, and even the porta-potties were pretty good (better than I've seen at any other campground). 2 complaints: (1), they do pack you in pretty tight. Even though the kids staying next to us weren't being excessively loud (and were a polite young bunch), I could still here most of what they were saying as I was trying to fall to sleep and they were still up around the camp fire. (2) Firewood is on the expensive side and of uneven quality; some was pretty good, other we had trouble getting started; and still other was cut too long for a fire pit. For $10 for 18-20 pieces, should be better. Overall, great experience and we will definitely be back.

Drove up from Chicago with 4 friends to float down the river over the 4th of July weekend. Had a blast! Campground made it easy and were all friendly people. Also, the tubes we were on seemed much better than other rental options nearby. Would recommend / come back again!

Went here to go tubing down the river, a must do on a travelers list. Relaxing and fun we had a decently big group of people and we brought beer and alcohol to drink in coolers. Also when bringing drinks make sure they are not in a glass containers, and they give you bags for garbage on the way out. We ended up filling the coolers back up with the garbage and emptying them on the way out.
