This hotel is very close to the metro station. For seven nights, I stayed in a classic room no kitchenette but there was a small wardrobe, table, silverware set and glasses, and a refrigerator. The room is actually quite large by standards. Staff was super friendly. The breakfast area looked nice. There is a laundry room, which is nice. I only give three stars because the bed was one of the hardest I've ever slept on. And the cleanliness/housekeeping was lacking. Even though I was told my room would be cleaned everyday, the only thing that was given to me was fresh towels every day. The floor was very dusty so I had to use my extra bath towel to wipe it up. My bathroom was cleaned once. They don't change the bedsheets either. I came back to a fresh set sitting on the bed. If you stay here, expect minimalist housekeeping. Otherwise it is very affordable and in a great neighborhood.
This the worst hotel I have ever stayed. That was because of one rude and RACIST manager. His name is RAUL, He is a bald guy and his name is..... He behaves very differently to different people based on their skin color. My usual checkin was at 3pm but I reached at 6am after 15 hours flight. I had given him headsup few days earlier about my early checkin and i had also told him that I am ready to pay 1 day extra charge for early checkin. When I reached hotel , another personnice guy was there at service desk and told me that there are people doing early checkout and i can get room early. When the RACIST manager came later , he didn't allocate any room to me and made me wait for 9 hours till 3pm. Meanwhile, he was giving rooms to the other race people. This was my second time visit to Paris and worst ever experience. Owner/Management of the hotels, please help to take necessary actions against the RACIST manager, his name is RAUL. This will help to keep a good reputation of your hotel chain.
Welcome was not good, maybe receptionist was not in good mood on my first day in hotel however other person name Remi he welcome us by open heart and provide all information. Remi was really awesome and and have hospitality attitude.Services was good and location was awesome as it is in between monparnesse and gaite metro station. Overall experience was god and definetly will recommend this hotel for my friends and family. Thanks a lot.
We had a great time. We recommend staying there. Great staff and also very clean and comfortable. . The hotel is located near many restaurants and close to main metro and bus stations.Thank you for everything
Location is great,I just feel the pictures don't do Justice to what they actually offer.Rooms: 3/5
Extremely Bad experience . Guy in the Reception treats customers as Idiots . Management need to train this Third class guys how to treat customers from other countries .Rooms: 2/5
Not the greatest experience. Uncomfortable beds and terrible pillows that caused us both neck pain, heated towel rack broken, hair dryer broken, construction including jack hammering across the road commences at 6am and finishes at 6pm. No warning given prior. All rooms on the 'quiet side' of the hotel are twin beds, so if you want a double bed, you cop the construction noise! At first when we checked in we were given access to a room already occupied. Then we were given a twin room. Then finally offered the double room but had the loud construction. Location close to train station is convenient but I would rather travel a little to stay somewhere else and have a more comfortable room!
Our stay in Ascott Citadines, was not good, sure super friendly staff, great location, but the service level is extremely low compared to real Ascott hotels, this hotel looks like pharmacy or clinic outside, inside looks more like the same, the breakfast we had was bought in a. Supermarket, rather than freshly made bread or liquids, costs 7 euro per person, also parking costs is ridiculous expensive 30 euro per day, in a very small parking space in de basement which is made for small auto. , problems in the room, was not totally cleaned the floor wasn't clean, the reception said we had to pay for another 17 euro to pay the floor and oh ja on the floor was some kind of sticky gum? Which was not removed after the cleaning, which we. Paid for, the hotel cleans the room after 7 days, which is disappointing, the toilet flush was so weak, that i had to get a bucket to get rid of mine waste in old fashion way. We Report that, nothing was improved, also the faucet in our room was leaking, report that again and nothing was done about that problem., oh 1 example about service, is that when we ask for a pillow the reception said in a hour or so i should pick it up, after that nothing came, so I went down and only 1 staff is in the hotel, which is kind of ridiculous, so he said again if i could come in another hour, so I did come again we got the pillow from another room, also toilet paper we needed same story.
Good hotel I found - clean and comfy rooms. Make sure and order a proper sized room though - the studio really is more suited for one person that a couple. The location is excellent - literally less than 5mins from Gare Montparnasse Train station and three different metro stops also. Lots of quaint good restaurants and cafes all around.
Teeny room with fold down bed which was a surprise & it had to be folded up each morning or no room to move - the attic rooms do not appear to be shown in the hotel website etc. The views are wonderful. Bathroom perfectly adequate & tiny kitchenette worked well. HOWEVER what we liked was how handy it is to everything - cafés, Metro, train station, shops, supermarket, pharmacy etc. We walked to Luxembourg Gardens & Latin Quarter. We would be very happy to stay here again.
