Got an engagement ring resized here and they noticed the diamond was chipped. They suggested a Moissanite replacement and it looks terrific and was very affordable. Check out these friendly folks.

I’m honestly just so delighted with our experience with Sutton. After we got engaged, my fiancé and I went to literally every single jewellery store in Polo Park mall (there’s at least five) and were really struggling to find engagement or wedding bands that fit our personalities and price range. We ended up ordering plain engagement bands off Etsy but found Sutton through their Local Frequency app listing. I work in the environmental field so local and sustainable business practices matter a lot to me. We came in several times before making a final decision and Peggy, Tom, and the rest of the sales staff were incredibly patient and helpful. One band was premade, but my fiancé’s is a custom job off the woodsman birch bark ring. We used gold from grandparents’ wedding bands, and Tom was able to see that a diamond plate could be re-used for a lovely tie pin! The resulting product is sturdy, sparkling, and fits him perfectly. Plus the custom work only took a week, which astounded us! Thank you to you both for your great customer service and lovely product selection. I’m sure we’ll be back for any other jewellery we might need, cleaning, or repairs - I’m still so pleased with the affordability of your products. It’s a pleasure to shop somewhere where we didn’t feel pressured or up-sold - and we get to know our rings were made right there in the Exchange! I highly recommend Sutton to anybody looking for any kind of jewellery, or who may need an expert eye on a potential repair job (Tom is the one who does the main work on the repairs and custom jobs and we were able to speak with him directly!).

Tom and his staff are beyond amazing! Their top notch service deserves more than 5 stars! I emailed photos of a ring I would like to have custom made after meeting with them and within a few days, I had 3D photos and two weeks later the ring was completed and on my finger. Their equipment for custom designs surpasses anything I've ever seen and I worked in the jewellery industry for years! There is no one else I would trust more with my jewellery than Tom and his staff!

Wonderful experience dealing with all the staff at Sutton's. We purchased my fiance's wedding band, as well as, had my wedding band custom made at Sutton's. I wasn't able to find anything in stores that suited what I was looking for. With the help of the staff at Sutton's we were able to create a band for me based off my fiance's design. Not being able to see or try on the final product before committing made me nervous, however, we received the finished bands yesterday and couldn't be happier. Sutton's even made a recommendation to change the finish of my band from polished to brushed, which I love. I will need to have my engagement ring redone at some point (it's a family ring), and will definitely be taking it to Sutton's for the work.

I have been dealing with Sutton Smithworks since approximately 2012. I don't wear a lot of jewellery so I don't visit often but am always more than satisfied when I do. I recently visited their new location in the Exchange for the first time and wow, what a lovely new showroom! It is bright, spacious and not at all intimidating. I had a few reasons for my visit: 1) I have an antique ring that needed to be repaired 2) A nearly 30 year old silver necklace that was badly tarnished 3) To purchase a "placeholder" ring as I don't like wearing my wedding jewellery when travelling for fear of losing it I was more than pleased when I was called to come and pick everything up 3 days later.. My antique ring looks amazing and I will be able to wear it for many years to come. My necklace looks absolutely brand new! I wish I had taken before and after pictures because it is gleaming. I also now have a lovely little silver ring to wear on my vacation, but also one I would be happy to wear on my right hand day-to-day going forward. The staff at Sutton Smithworks is top notch. I have dealt with Tom and Peggy in the past and they have always been friendly, patient and clearly love what they do. I recently met Holly and she is a wonderful addition to the team. She is very knowledgeable, a great salesperson (not at all pushy - but I definitely left with a new bottle of cleaner!) and does a great job keeping their social media pages updated, which is important to someone my age! All in all, I couldn't say more positive things about Sutton Smithworks. I refer them to all my friends and I'm sure they will be able to assist you with any of your jewellery needs!
