Sushi Taro

The store looks clean and The presentations is great and that’s about it. The colour of the fish looks fresh but the taste was just ok freshness and missing the fish sweet taste. The fish on the sushi is as thin as a paper, same thing on the rolls. The rolls looks colourful but all taste the same. I don’t understand how can they get so many 5 stars. It is a solid 3 star store.

Ordered previously and this time wanted to try their P33 which was the 100pcs deluxe sashimi-sushi-roll. The package changed from the wooden box to the plastic box like every other sushi place. The presentation was not as appealing as before. Sashimi and sushi were fresh and tasted good. But should have provided more different variety of fish & sushi. There were too many salmons and it didn’t seem too deluxe.

Tuna the cat approves! The 100 piece set has an excellent variety with fresh tasty fish. The price point is great, especially with its torched sushi! And the nice presentation is a bonus Highly recommended.

Found this place through a friend so I called to make a take out order and the woman who picked up was so sweet, in nature and voice. They accommodated my pick up time and when I got there an hour later, it was ready! I got the smaller deluxe box and my family loved it. The rice is the most important part and they got it perfectly, solid and sticks together. The sashimi is fresh and not fishy in scent or flavour with a nice variety. I love that they have the shrimp as that's my favourite and it did not disappoint. The pressed sushi is the zesty cheese shrimp which is the one I wanted to try most. I wish it had a little more punch to it. Maybe a slice of jalapeno? Overall, the price is really good for the quality and amount you're getting.I would recommend it and will definitely come to order again.

I ordered P33 which was the 100pcs deluxe sashimi-sushi-roll. There was nothing special about this party tray even though it was deluxe. Only the presentation was nice. In the party tray, 3 out of the 4 rolls had the same filling imitation crab, cucumber, avocado, and tobiko. For this price there are places that have much better quality.

Take a quick lunch here after meeting. The lunch set is very good, salmon is fresh and the lunch combo is well worth $12. Will definitely come back to try the party tray next time. Friendly stuff too

Sushi-Q quality food. Thin slices of sashimi, small portions and hard sushi rice for $13.99 plus tax. Fish were not fresh... even AYCE sashimi tastes better than theirs.Food: 3/5

It's surprisingly good! Very nice take-out box presentation. The food is fresh and the staffs are friendly. And the sashimi combo got all my favorites. I Will visit again! This is a hidden gem inside the very quiet and empty mall.

Ordered two lunch sets today. Super fresh and good quality food. Nice cuts of fish. Even the croutons in the salad were the good quality ones. Fast and hygienic service. The location is inside the food court of the big mall. Indoor parking and up the escalators, the location is right by the escalators on the ground floor. Can’t miss it!
