Haven’t eaten our sushi meals yet but already giving them 5 stars for how sweetly and without hesitation they let us use our own containers for our takeout. Expecting the sushi to be awesome, as these owners seem downright lovely. EDIT: the sushi was epic—huge portions and lovely little touches. Great value. Would definitely recommend this hidden gem.
Good lunch value set options as well as take out. The rolls are quite filling; i personally like the style of spicy salmon rolls they offer mixed with panko and the spicy mayo in the mix vs on top. Kid friendly venue as well and delicious food. Good addition to the neighborhood as options for value sushi platters and sets are limited in the area.
I stopped by today to give it a try based on a friend's recommendation and was pleasently surprised by the Excellent quality sushi for very reasonable price. Would definitely go back and recommend to anyone looking for a quick bite solid five stars for service. Would definitely like to go back
TLDR; Food: 8/10 Service: 9/10 Value: 7/10 Was looking for a new sushi restaurant to try out and came across Sushi O'Mine on Google Maps. We party of 3 and 1 child arrived around 6:30pm on a Monday and were able to get a seat very quickly. They have several platters, but many of the regular ones are only available for takeout. The waitress offered us tea while we wait which was piping hot. The waitress was very quiet and with masks on, I could not hear her very well. I had to ask her to repeat herself several times throughout the meal, but she was very nice. We ordered the Grand Cruiser boat, a tempura appetizer, and a seafood teriyaki yaki udon. Once we ordered, we received some appetizers and the waitress asked us if we'd like to have our yaki udon first and we said sure... But the udon didn't actually come out until the end lol. The sushi boat arrived shortly after food was spaced out nicely - not too quick or late to arrive and was split into two plates - one for the rolls and another for the sushi/sashimi. All fish was pretty fresh and I liked that they didn't use too much rice for the rolls. The udon itself was too sweet for our tastes. The dessert was free and came with a cookies & creme pocky stick and a gummy. The gummy was a little hard, but appreciated and the ice cream was very good. I strongly recommend the black sesame!
Amazing food and friendly staff! Their sashimi are high quality and they melt in my mouth. Bulgogi is also very juicy and flavourful. Will definitely come back again to dine in or order party tray for my next gathering!
A hidden gem in this area! I've been here a couple of times now and they always have fresh, quality sushi. Their tempura roll is a must-try. It's fried outside, not with some tempuras inside the roll as usual. A party tray and one special roll were a really generous portion for the price as well. Will definitely come back for dine-in.
What an amazing surprise! Went in to check out the Korean store and found this gem hidden in the back. As the name of the store states they sell sushi. BUT, they also sell some Korean dishes. And boy does it hit the spot!! The chef was kind enough to adhere to my requests - which was well appreciated. There are quite a few tables which is generally empty as people mostly do takeout. It was a nice spot to have a quiet and quick lunch. I Took a picture but as you can see I already started eating from it before realizing I need to take a picture. So delicious!!
COME HERE SUSHI ENJOYERS. Through my life's existence, this is the best sushi/sashimi you can get at its price point $20-35. Nothing comes close to it. You can tell that the chef here is truly passionate in his restaurant through the food itself.Food: 5/5
This restaurant is on a smaller size, there are maybe eight tables altogether. The sushi is definitely delicious; however be prepared to wait. The portion of the premium rolls is very generous, but the rice is quite thin, so the rolls actually fall apart if you squeeze the chopsticks too hard. It appears that only two people are working, the sushi chef and one other person taking orders and preparing tables. Nevertheless, I definitely recommend coming here for sushi, just don't come hungry.
I moved to Canada from Japan 10years ago, and I have to say that this was the best Sushi/ Sashimi I've had in this country. I did not expect to have such fresh and so tasty sushi/sashimi in this country. On top of that, the presentation was excellent. I would definetely go back!
