Sushi Karis

This restaurant became one of our favorite delivery options during the pandemic, so it was nice to visit it in person. However, the restaurant is very busy and small, so keep that in mind. I never had anything to complain about ordering delivery, so visiting in person was the same. It was interesting to learn that dining in the Master roll is served with a little fire show. Deluxe assorted sashimi was top-notch. I think it is an excellent location for Japanese cuisine and we'll remain their regular customers.

A wide range of options on the menu, and a cozy location, made it easy to enjoy our “comfort food” lunch. I particularly loved the Dragon Roll. The owners were friendly and attentive, which helped. We’ll definitely come back if we’re in the area again. My only minor complaint was the tea and several refills were scolding hot, making it difficult to pick up the cup

Just had a fantastic meal here with a small group. Really wonderful service, delicious food, attentive server and over all a really great experience. I will be back soon! Enjoy the photo of my spider roll!

Ordered Tuna & Salmon Combo B, Chopped Scallop Roll, California Combo, Veggie Roll as takeout. The tuna, salmon and chopped scallop raw items all tasted very unfresh and the tuna had an unpleasantly mushy texture. Rice also seemed weirdly and strongly seasoned. I could not eat these items - I have gotten very sick from food poisoning before so I don't take risks on questionable seafood. Veggie roll and California roll were good. Quite disappointed because the food looked great, presented beautifully even in a takeout container, and the proportions of rice to filling in the roll were excellent. Sadly won't be back since there are many other sushi restaurants around here with fresher sashimi.

I have been trying various Japanese restaurants in the hood and find this one top the list. Price is reasonable. Friendly service. The lady owner tops up your tea frequently. The shushi rolls presentation is professional. I particularly love the sashimi which is very fresh. Come here often now.

I ordered 4 California roll at 2:50pm I received fake California roll why you guys cheated on food ?what is it the stuff? I never saw any other restaurant,if you guys don’t know about the food go and see some other restaurant learn then run the business it’s garbage please stop otherwise you guys out of the business

We were on the island over the weekend and we ordered Nabeyaki Udon from a restaurant and my toddler loved it.. so we got back in town and i had to search who has Nabeyaki udon on the menu.. and I came across Sushi Karis and this place is only 10 mins from where we live. Boy oh boy.. they did not disappoint. The soup was tasty.. fillings was plentiful. Most importantly.. my toddler loved it too! If only i can recommend.. maybe add a bit of those tempura bits.. it will give it more of that Umami-ish flavour. We also ordered few rolls of sushi.. all was great. Spicy tuna in particular was awesome. Service was great too. Very friendly and food came out within 10mins of ordering. I would definitely recommend Sushi Karis and we certainly will be back soon! Where to begin.... this small yet very welcoming sushi spot is a hidden gem. The owners are very friendly, courteous and just have a warmth about them. The place is tidy and cozy. I like the layout as well, they did well for the space they have. I particularly loved the handmade, by the owners, pottery glasses that accompanied our beverage. The sushi itself.... Wow. It’s times like this when I wish you could try a piece of every custom roll. Just sit and eat for hours, it gives you that kinda feeling. Lucky enough for me I live real close by The Poke is delightfully good. Taco so crisp, Salmon Avocado roll..... mouth watering as I write this review. Anyhow if you are in area and care to have a wonderful Sushi experience, go to Sushi Karis. I can’t find the words to convince you enough, let them do it.

First time take out. Their nigiri sushi and sushi rolls were tasty and good priced. Will try their other menus next time.Food: 5/5
