There are many Vietnamese restaurants these days and comparing one to another seems inappropriate when it comes to a Google review. With that said, this restaurant serves huge portions, somewhat unbalanced ingredients with lots of noodles which made my review one less star. Tastes are generally good with aced soup for pho. A staff is kind and accommodating.
We started visiting this restaurant in 2019, and the price was reasonable back then. The quality and quantity were really good up to last year, but today’s visit was very disappointing. The sugarcane shrimp is overprice given the size was smaller and the sugarcane tasted very bitter. The curry sauce is too thin, more like liquid than sauce. The lemongrass beef is taste-less but not too chewy. The noodles is decent but portion is smaller. We understand pandemic put strain on everyone’s finance, but the declined quality was surprising.
Very disappointed. This was my first visit here since pre-pandemic, and boy has the quality declined! Pre-pandemic, we ate here once or twice a month, and enjoyed every single meal. Not this time though. The "curry" with roti was watery - like broth with curry flavor. The laksa was the same. The pho broth was lacking flavor like being watered down, and tasted artificial like the instant pho cubes. Even the fish sauce has declined! The meat was also much dryer than before. The pho portion was very small, but the vermicelli and rice portions were ok. On top of it all, the prices went up about 20-25%. I understand that the pandemic has been tough on small businesses. But increasing prices and decreasing quality is how you lose customers.
Been passing by Yonge Street many times and first time trying this Vietnamese restaurant this afternoon . Plenty parking outside the restaurant. Warm, cozy atmosphere inside. Staff was very polite & nice. We ordered the Meal for 2 $ 25.50 which includes 1 appetizer , 2 mains, and 2 drinks choice of pops, ice tea and Thai milk tea and Viet coffee for extra. Husband was craving for hot soup so we ordered the Thai Tom Yum and it tasted pretty good. The pho soup base was little bit watery than other places we've tried. The sauces for the hainsnese chicken was delicious. The overall experience was pretty good. Will visit again.
Went into Super Bowl Pho today. The restaurant was big, clean and the staff where very polite. We got two bowls of pho, and it was very good. I also got some fresh rolls with shrimp and I thought those were excellent. Would recommend, and I'll be back the next time I have a pho craving!
“ Super Bowl Pho “ is one of the best Vietnamese noodle restaurant in this area. Super nice manager, super delicious food and super super good price. No where else. Strongly recommends.
Do NOT go or order from here! I would give a less than 1 star review if I could. The curry sauce for the roti was not curry at all. It was thin and watery as though they used their stock and added a bit of turmeric. The Laksa was the same - it was a watery and overly salty soup base with no Laksa flavour at all. The boiled egg that came with the Laksa STILL HAD BIT OF THE SHELL ON! The chicken was also so dry it tasted like eating wood shavings. So disappointed with the quality of the food here.
Was nearby in the area and wanted to eat some pho, saw this place and tried it out Got the 2 main course special pretty good option to choose from with a reasonable price Not to busy during night time pretty chill place to grab a quick eat. Got the rare beef noodle soup, noodle was okay, not alot of protein, soup little blend. Overall it’s okay.
Came here first time and definitely last time. I ordered the crab with vermicelli. I requested no peanuts, no onions. I checked no green onions. The food came and I saw the green onions so I asked them if they can take the onions out since I don't eat it. The server gave me a very rude attitude. Sorry but you didn't asked for no onions, he came out and I point I requested no onions. He replied you check on the wrong one, even tho on the paper you can read no onions. Instead of arguing with the customers, the server should apologize and should says gladly take it out instead standing arguing with me. In the ends, he bring out and still some onions left. The fish sauce taste like water. Non-Vietnamese can't tell the difference but to Vietnamese customers we can tell which taste like water. When we came literally only 2 tables including ours table. In genenal, not coming back again.
Very Good pork chop with rice ! Spring roll is also yummy! Pho is also a must go ! Will recommend
