Super 8 by Wyndham Hinton

We stopped here on our way to Jasper. There is plenty of parking, hotel is at the end of the road so easy to find off main highway. Reception was very helpful and friendly, we had a ground floor room, clean, comfortable bed, bathroom very good, clean, excellent shower, large bath, plenty hot water. Room very quiet. Hotel filled up quickly later on so guess it's popular. The manager is great, very helpful. Breakfast free and plenty of choice. We will definitely stay here when we are back in the area.

Super 8 Hinton is a great for a motel. The breakfast was great (and free!) The restaurant next door did not have authentic Chinese food, but it was good. The room was clean, but it smelled weird. The people at the front desk were courteous. A fridge would have been nice though. Overall pretty good!

Very friendly staff and a nice quiet atmosphere. The room was nice and clean when we arrived. The free breakfast was decent and the hot tub and pool area were very quiet. My husband and I were the only people in the pool and hot tub. The only thing that was missing was a sauna! When we arrived they were cleaning the pool, there was not an excess of chemicals in the water, which is very nice if you have sensitive skin. Although it is a chlorine pool, heads up for those with chlorine allergies.

Don't stay here. Not like a real super 8. It is more like a run down motel with $50 rooms. My sheets were not changed and there was hair all over the bathroom and in the bed. Pillow cases were dirty and floors not clean. Stinky like cigarettes, a/c - heater was gutted and definitely needed to be replaced. Overall it's run down and over priced. There are many better options in Hinton.

Decent rooms and continental breakfast was decent. Nothing fancy. Amazing front desk help and was a good place. Downside: pool hours start at 10 am, so no using the pool for us since we also arrived after 10 pm in the night. I really wish hotels extended their pool hours because they don't have lifeguards anyways...sooo. anyways that's my pet peeve for all hotels.
