The caretakers are very friendly. The place is a little dated, the swimming pool is out of operation, the store carries very little stock. The sites are clean and the kids love the playground. All in all it's quiet, friendly and clean but could use an overhaul.

Ok for the price. Facilities are old but clean enough. One 1$ shower in the women's room was broken.

Only if it's your only option. The camping is by the highway, the neighbor operates machinery, and there's a huge RV park and marina full of tugs between you and the water. They charge 26 bucks a night which is the same as some of the most beautiful places I've slept.  Pros: mediocre wifi, hard key flush toilets and 1.00$ shower. NO firewood. Seriously just keep going to sooke or Goldstream if they're open and you can make it

Decrepit mini golf course is absolutely amazing. Lots of harbour seals on the docks.

My parents came to visit and were allowed to stay here for a week. Its beautiful, peaceful and amazing here. We look forward to coming here more often.
