If a beach is good for my dogs, it's a good beach for me. It's quiet. There is a campground closeby. Would make for a good camping trip, waking up and going to bed under the stars shining over the Pacific ocean. Be aware it's not a Sandy beach.
Very nice place for family play and unwinding. Be prepared for it to be windy since it's not in a cove. That said there's plenty of areas for reprieve from the wind. Recommend bringing everything you need before getting there. Bathrooms are clean with pit outhouses. Lots of picnic areas and a cool playground for the kids.
Great campground. Nice large shady pad. Short walk to the beach thru the cedars. Beach is beautiful, lots of drift wood, and a fresh water stream at south end enters the ocean. Great playground and picnic area Playground: Great big playground Restrooms: Pit toilets. Clean. Wheelchair friendly Dog-friendliness: Dogs must be on a leash. Lots of places to walk
Absolutely beautiful park and pathway down to picnic areas and beach. Large childrens playground area. Large picnic area and firepits. Beach is quite long, lots of room for lots of people. Park is very clean and well taken care of. There is also a camping area, but I didn't check it out
Absolutely beautiful stop! I didn't want to leave. My breath was taken away as I saw on the gravel beach to watch the waves crash on the shore. A little ways back there was a bridge that took you into another world of green grass and tall trees. I could spend all day here just wandering the ground!
Stunning setting. Very well kept sites. Lots of bathrooms. Clean and well stocked. Truly gorgeous year round. Playground: Good for 5+ Restrooms: Outhouses. Clean and well stocked Dog-friendliness: I don't have a dog but lots of people camping there did Picnic area: Solid benches with stunning views. Very short walk from parking lot and campground
Great park with a campground, playground, day use area with picnic tables and fire pits, and an awesome beach. There is ample parking. There are washroom facilities available here also. Lots of green spaces and some trails. We had a great time here and I would definitely come back again. It’s a bit of a trip from the Victoria area but well worth the drive.
A super lovely family camping park. Highly recommend for those who just want to explore the Juan de Fuca area but aren't ready for big hikes. Beautiful night sky in the summer.
A lovely well maintained site, spacious well laid out pitches. A lovely west coast beach with picnic and play area facilities. Good dump and fast fresh water fill up opposite the entrance to the site with fresh water available at several location's onsite.
Well worth the drive to visit this beach. Interesting fact: my cell phone told me I was no longer in Canada while I was here.
