I tried the bakery on their first day, July 13, I have since been back several times. The pastry, in my opinion, is the best in Vancouver. I've tried multiple danishes and croissants and each one has been perfect every time. Now working my way through the cakes! Coffee tastes great and staff always friendly.
Yet another cafe has opened up in my neighborhood, so I decided to give it a try on their soft opening. It was spacious with lots of seats. The pastry selection was limited. I was a little disappointed by the turkey sandwich, the meat was tender but the cheese and pesto was on the salty side, and it was quite dry. The brewed coffee was okay too. The prices were decent but I probably would not come back
Great cafe. TONS of seating, which is pretty unheard of and a huge perk for me. The coffee was good and the price was fair. Bathrooms were clean and easy to find. Staff was really nice. Because they’re are so many seats, it can get kind of loud so bring headphones.
I will definitely come back to try the rest of their pastries. Drip coffee was really good and served in the cutest mug The ham & cheese croissant could have more cheese, but that’s my preference. My friend and I shared the waffle and the chocolate croon - AMAZING both of them Staff was friendly and the place very clean.
Lovely cafe! They’re constantly adding things to their offerings, so it’s good to follow their social media for updates. Got myself a strawberry matcha latte and peach and earl grey roll. They give you an option for sweetened or unsweetened for the latte, which I chose unsweetened the strawberries still add sweetness to it!. Cake was light and as not too sweet ie. Asian taste Hope to go again soon!
I accidentally found this place a couple days ago. And today’s their first day of opening. Ordered a latte and a slice of carrot cake and sat there for a while. Staff are all friendly and the prices are reasonable. Great place! Will come back
Great Cafe for some work or to grab a coffee with a friend. I had the almond milk latte which was delicious and a blueberry muffin which was quite dry in my opinion and not many blueberries. Lots of seating which is a huge perk. Otherwise, recommend checking out
New spacious and open area cafe that has replaced the old market. Lots of tables and seating for people to chat, work, or study. We tried a tropical smoothie and americano - both were pretty good. The prices overall are quite affordable, which is an appealing aspect. Just a bit awkward when picking sandwiches as they're across the cashier and you have to awkwardly hand them over to get them heated up. Constructively it would be really cool if they reach out to local artists and feature their work on the walls/for sale.
The talented barista was able to pull the best espresso I had in the city. Finally a place that doesn't serve those sour single origin coffee but a nice balanced one. The pastry was also excellent. The place was nearly full but still roomy. Will be back
This place is the best. Unreal almond croissants, lots of spots to study and get heads down work done, or to chat with a friend. Beautiful, airy space. Delicious oat milk lattes albeit a bit overpriced but where isn’t?. Wifi, too! Only gripe: if you are unhappy with your drink, they won’t make you another one free of charge. Do all places make you a new one? Of course not. But my favourite spots all do. It’s such an easy way to show they value your experience. This is a small complaint only, as I get not all places make new ones for free, but I consider this an easy win for customer retention/loyalty.
