STEPSS

I went to this store on my break today. (I work in the mall). Tried on a pair of boots, liked them, and asked if I can put it on hold because I didn't have my wallet on me, but told them i'd be back before 5 and the manager who put them on hold said okay no problem. I went there at 4:30 and the manager had a smirk on her face, she said "you know those boots you put on hold..." I said yeah, she said "I sold them" I couldn't hold them for that long....that's not what she told me when she put them on hold! She said she'd hold them til the end of the day! I am so mad, she told me she'd keep them on hold, put them in the back, knew I was coming back and sold them to someone else!! All she cares about is money, no customer service skills at all in this location! Plus they don't give out store credits like other steps locations, only do exchanges even with the receipt and original box and condition. Do not go here!! Worst STEPSS ever! They need a new manager!
