Steeles Deli Restaurant

Only found this place about 2 months ago but have been there 4X already. Food is great. Homemade burger was one of the best ever. Waitresses remind of friends moms being both funny and attentive. It has become my new neighbourhood go to. Great value as well.

Friendly service. Asked if they had potato knishes when we were seated. We were told yes. After searching the menu we could only find beef knishes?? The person who seated us only heard knish and had no knowledge of different types. Good breakfast and other deli items. The Ruben was excellent.

Great deli sandwiches, pastrami, corned beef. I've been there with my dad many times who knows what a good Toronto deli is all about. He loves it. Owners attentive to clients. Waitresses very good. The place could use some renovations.

It's a friendly atmosphere. The waitresses are fast and attentive. The food is inexpensive and represents very good value. The food is good, and the portions are generous. However, if you pick certain specialties of the house, the food goes from good to excellent. The liver is outstanding. The tongue sandwiches are very good. The deli meats in general are very good. Soups are very good. It's a relaxing, enjoyable meal. You can't go wrong. Proof is that the restaurant does have a lot of regulars who have been appreciative customers for years and years. I'm one of them. Oh yes, there is adequate parking. Sometimes you have to hunt for it, or park a tiny bit away. But we do that all the time in the big mall parking lots. The decor is appropriate for a "diner" type of deli. It's informal and fun. Do yourself a favour--visit this place, or if you're not in the mood to go to a restaurant, go there for takeout. They'll fill your order fast. Do I like this restaurant? I love it.

Great deli, great service and fresh food for sure. Steele’s deli biggest competition in the vicinity is the Pickle Barrel, but the food at the Steele’s deli is a thousand times better and tastier. Steele’s deli takes you back into time and let’s you enjoy delicious juicy deli sandwiches. Highly recommend!!

I went to the restaurant on my break and ordered a large Greek salad with chicken. I get back to work to find out there was TUNA on my salad. As someone who always gets Greek salad it was a surprise to see FISH on my GREEK salad. Since I am allergic to fish, I had to give the store the call and let them know. After arguing with the lady on the phone I asked to speak to the manager and to my surprise she was the owner! Not only was this a waste of my time but also a waste of my money! There should be an option for "no star"!

a friend invited me here for lunch today, so i googled this place and read the reviews. 2 reviews in 1 year. then, someone complains about mice, all of a sudden, 3 perfect reviews, that sound more like advertisement than reviews, and all in 2 weeks. sounds fishy to me. so i looked into these "customers". they all have 1 review, all at steeles deli restaurant, and no other activity on the account. sounds fishy to me if im questioning the credibility of the reviews, then what about the quality of their food, and restaurant cleanliness.

Good food but service is getting so slow and was not busy. My aunt ordered hot water and it looked like the water was dirty. When asked to change cup twice same thing.

Horrible. Worst experience ever. I don't even want to give one star to this terrible place. we went there, the food was cold and we asked to see the manager. The manager was not there, but there was a cashier who was extremely rude. He literally yelled at us instead of apologizing or changing the food. Long story short, I would neither walk in to this place again nor recommend it to anyone.

Food is always good, prices are fair. Service is light hearted -- fun.
