I went to Sababa on Thursday evening 5:45pm to order take out. I tried the $5 Sababa burger for the first time. It is a lamb and beef burger in pita. It was delicious. A lot more satisfying than a big mac at McDonald's. The staff was polite.

Nice selection of Israeli products. That said everything in the store is at least double the price from no frills. Same products same size double the price. Not sure why they think they can charge so much more. On the good side, their fresh made pita bread is great, very close to the taste and texture back home.

Delicious steak livers. Updating my review after a year: The quality has stayed the same. This is very important when you want to come back for more!

Used to love coming here. Lentil soup goid but watery. Bench seats old and uncomfortable. Interior is literally cold.
